I saw Warren Buffett on CNBC say all crypto currencies are in a bubble and will end badly. They have no idea what is happening. Maybe that is a good thing. If they knew, they might push for hyper regulation.

Well, he says so, then that that would be to trade shares sufficiently to study fundamental anliz and know whether the share of current value is equal or not. in bitcoins and other crypto-currencies, this can not be done and it is difficult to adequately pinpoint them. In any market there are bubbles.
On the commodity market you need to read and look at one place to trade, you need to look at the fundamental news and unexpected news, but here we know that we need to wait for the harts and read the calendar to catch the pumper.
The reason for the crisis is the low dollar.

He himself said he knows nothing about crypto. But he does know it will end badly. I don't get why CNBC asks him about crypto currency when he admits he knows nothing about crypto. So basically the whole interview is useless, of course it will end badly for some. There will be people who make tons of money and others will lose, that is how it works.

Spot on. Here are the silly old duffer's verbatim quotes:

"In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say almost with certainty that they will come to a bad ending."

But then, this:

"I get into enough trouble with things I think I know something about. Why in the world should I take a long or short position in something I don't know anything about?"

Every time he opines about cryptocurrencies, I lose a little more respect for him.

yup you are right

Not only is he right but I will elude as to why they do interviews with him rather than one of us who knows cryptos and that is because he is a draw. He is going to draw investors, noobs, and whoever else whereas a random forum person may attract 0. I am pretty sure I could have gone on and described how a zero-sum game works too, no offence Mr. Buffy Roll Eyes.

Well, to be honest, everyone have their own opinion related to certain things, and he is trying to show us his opinion about cryptoes. I know we as the members of the Crypto won't agree with his statements as we already know that the Crypto-world is getting huge, and it will exist in future as well.
However, there are some chances that could make his statements true, but I am pretty sure that those chances are very rare and they won't happen anytime soon.

warren buffett is a really true this is a bubble even the stocks exchanges is a bubble.. everything for sale may fall in price from the top of its price. for example nokia this is expensive cellphone in a world after create steve jobs the iphone the nokia will lower the price of their cellphones as well as their sales borders like a bitcoin with finite also its price per bitcoin manipulation when it's not feasible it explodes so called bubbles. trading is a game, strategy approach for you to earn. the best trading strategy to take the capital and leave the earnings just in case that the bitcoin price drops you value again. Trading crypto currency will make it more difficult for its price and price movements.

Those old/classic investors are not following the technology. They just like their old-fashioned style and use their success in the past to spread their ideas

Its his opinion but lets see, I think he just want to create market panic about his thoughts. But for me crypto markets will boom in more years to come despite of attacks and FUD. Cryptocurrency industry is too early to judge, one day the world will see how powerful and useful it is.

I have read that in the internet feed a few hours ago. Warren Buffet did not believed in the potential of the new technology. Anyway he was very old now. We know that we will die eventually but he was very lucky to see the evolution of technology.  Cheers   Grin

Warren Buffet is usually a low risk investor, as we all know he considers Bitcoin and other crypto currency as a high risk investment. He also do not know anything about block chain technology. I doubt that he will  buy  Bitcoin or any other crypto.

I know warren buffet such famous people so he can make a lot of change of this crypto with his statement. I think people will not invest in cryptocurrency anymore after knowing his statement specially for newbie.

The man is a total technophobe.

It's been reported he doesn't even own a cell phone never mind know how to operate one.
He plays Bridge in his down time. (it's old card game that your grandparents would play in the nursing home).

Warren Buffet is a well known investor and I follow his advice in investing, But it is limited on stocks and CFD.

He admits that he does not know anything about crypto currency and most likely will not invest on it.

I will be surprised if he did invest, because he thinks that bitcoin or crypto is just a bubble.

Most of his followers also do not invest on crypto so I think his statement will not affect the market.

We could say that those markets have been in a bubble and when they explode they will explode in the face and will make the financial crisis of the history those people in the cryptocurrency that is normal the bubbles explode and ready but in the markets The world's financial companies keep them in a price range and accumulate and accumulate until they can not stand it and it explodes
