Are you on a magazine right now, or are you on a website?

I'm reading a pedantic lickspittle's idea of witty prose.

This is, perhaps, the best comeback I've ever read.  Well played.

Well, the latest comic is now permanently on the front page.  Grin

Before that, you would need to click on the latest comic link.

Are you on a magazine right now, or are you on a website?

The Economist website is not a magazine?

You have a blog, you don't have a magazine.  A tumblr account is not a museum of priceless art even if it is filled with Monet .jpgs

A Blog typically is a magazine. Just because it doesn't have a laminated cover with "Teen Star" or some shit, written as a title does not mean it's not a magazine.

mag·a·zine/ˌmagəˈzēn/Noun
1. A periodical publication containing articles and illustrations, typically covering a particular subject.

Help Bitcoins by buying clothes, technology, books, etc. through people/stores that accept BTC. This will increase overall value of BTC as well as mitigate unnecessary bank transaction fees.

this thread and this comment from Jalum in another thread https://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=27368.msg345049#msg345049

made me think of this comic http://xkcd.com/386/ for some reason.

So in honour of all the Jalum type trolls I modified the xkcd comic to this:

Call it a magazine all you want it may be technically a magazine by definition but here in reality it's a blog and you just call it a magazine to feel professional and go against the grain where anyone else would call it a blog.

But that's beside the point because yes, a big mass delusion would indeed create what you have created regardless of what you call it. See THE DOLLAR for one example Roll Eyes Roll Eyes or perhaps Scientology if you don't like the other example.

And lets get something straight. From reading the linked thread a lot of these guys aren't mocking bitcoin, they're mocking the users that have turned this from a well educated forum into a cesspit.

No, let's really get something straight. See me last post.

But any sane person would call it a blog because it matches a whole lot better with that definition.

I can call my square a rectangle but I'm better suited calling it a fucking square.

A square is a rectangle.. It doesn't matter what you call it.

Honestly, I feel bad. I will pay your $50 a year for field trips and lunch money, etc to go back to elementary school.

I used to have a dog that barked for table scraps. Does anybody know where I can buy "Troll Chow"? Jalum once wrote on this forum, "See?  This is what I mean by people who are emotionally attached to an idea." Is he emotionally attached to dissing Bitcoin? I smoke after sex. Does Jalum smoke after trolling?

My apologies to Jalum, for I've never flamed anyone on the internet before. I hope it I did it correctly. Feedback (by any members) welcomed.

But if i told you I had a rectangle you generally wouldn't think of a square.

Just like if I told you I created a magazine you wouldn't imagine a website.

"You" referring to the general English speaking population. Not the predisposed "you" who would think of a website and a square just so his argument is correct.

edit:RE: square is a rectangle

That's why I used that as an example. Maybe you should take that $50 & fund your own education a bit further.

I think Trolls eat pigeons, whereas I eat doves.

Cartoon Idea: Use this image as your starting point but change the word Pedestrians to Trolls: http://www.bestweekever.tv/bwe/images/2008/06/PIGEONS%20123.jpg

A Magazine is to a blog as a square is to a rectangle. It doesn't matter what anyone *thinks*, it is the same thing. Technically, preferably, whatever. You can say what you want to say, they're the same thing in the end.
