I really have my doubts about blockchain.info.

Some time ago, I created an address there as I needed a point to start.  I'm subsequently using Armory but that's another story.

I'm trying to log into blockchain but it keeps locking me out for absolutely no reason.

I've tried using my identifier.  I've also tried using my alias.  I know full well the password is correct as I've very very very carefully types it in using the keyboard, laptop keyboard and the onscreen keyboard to eliminate any keys not working.

When the infamous phrase "you only have one attempt left" appears I'm thinking I'll try the recovery procedure and typed in my mnemonic.  It then presented me with the password I had typed in the previous 4 times which I then copied and pasted into the password box (so I know it is correct) but low and behold it locks me out.

This has been the same for two days now.

What the hell is blockchain.info playing at?   I tried using their support on a completely different matter shortly after creating the account but they don't even bother to answer support calls.

This doesn't actually convince me they are a professional outfit.  I hope anyone with coins in there actually has some reason to trust them!!

Anyone else experienced this behaviour?

Password guesses are not limited so this sounds like a problem with 2 factor authentication to me. Do you have two factor authentication enabled? If so please use the form at https://blockchain.info/wallet/reset-two-factor in order to have it removed after which you will be able to login using only the password.

If 2fA is the problem, you might wanna simply check you don't have NoScript addon or an equivalent running, too, and if that's the case, either whitelist blockchain or temporary authorize it before trying to login.

[OVER] RIDDLES 2nd edition --- this was claimed. Look out for 3rd edition!
I won't ever ask for a loan nor offer any escrow service. If I do, please consider my account as hacked.

Yep, 2FA is enabled  Roll Eyes

I'll try tomorrow to reset it since it is currently locked out for tonight.

Seems quite a buggy website!!

Thanks for the suggestions guys.  Grin

Blockchain.info is a superb site.  It is not buggy, nor is it (for most people) difficult to use.

I doubt that it's blockchain, it's probably something you have missed.
