The price of bitcoin is unpredictable and unstable but i think the price of bitcoin will rise up to $20k above untill the end of 2018  because of the massive usage of bitcoin and huge demand of bitcoin.

maybe around 20,000 usd to 30,000 usd the price of bitcoin at the end of 2018. I think bitcoin will not go up more because many people complain about the fee of bitcoin some people use other altcoin with low fee.

During this year bitcoin is going to have a huge demand, i can really smell that.. And we all know that bitcoin has a huge potential to keep increasing during the next few months. But maybe we are going to have a bear season on the whole market, i do not know, just my two cents..

i think it will still not more 15k+ again bitcoin already showing their power in last year .
1 btc 15k its big money enough . maybe im wrong or not . but price will down more potenial than up .
im decide to buy later. the price its too risky . now the chart price really easy drop 1k 2k a days . for me its not really big deal to gamble some money to it.

Well, who knows? With the formation I am seeing on the charts now though, I feel we are on the way to the next drop zone and $11000 may be a very good buy and a very strong support. However, like I said, no one knows and it may fall lower than that. Nevertheless, for long positions, no one should ever miss that spot as probably after that, we may start seeing the bulls on the match, set to go.

OP is stating the end of this year that means we had a lot of months to see to it that bitcoin price will be on the $20,000 or more than that Let's say $50,000 for this year, I can sense that bitcoin will be having a hard time in moving a fast pace of a bullish trend but it will not just dip and dip because of its competitors, I should say let's just be patient and hold because winter is coming.

It's just the beginning but time flies so fast and every single prediction is giving us an idea on how bitcoin can grow but only those predictions that has plausible and interesting technical analysis. But bitcoin's price has been affected by many things like news, FUDs, volumes and many more. Basic predictions tell us that it will be stable at $30,000 - $40,000.

1) BTC will stay above USD 10,000,-, it might be a close call though.

2) Alts will see yet another boom, but the growth will be mostly unsustainable. We'll see changes in the top coins as some currently hyped alts fall from grace and get superseded by others.

3) BTC will come close to USD 50,000,- at one point in 2018, but not be able to stabilize on that level.

every people have different different price prediction of bitcoin at the end of 2018 but no one can sure about the price of bitcoin . From my views about the bitcoin now a days the price of bitcoin is approx $16000 and the price of bitcoin will countinously increase since from few days but there will be up and down take place in the market of the price of bitcoin in between the 2018 so from my experience at the end of 2018 the price will be $20000.

The interesting part will be to see whether one of the alts manages to decouple itself from BTC, which I don't quite see happening yet.

Most alts still get pulled down when BTC drops. ETH decouples at times, but still mostly follows BTC's movement. BCH only decouples during hype events, but for the most part still seems to follow BTC's market trend. XRP looks mostly like a short-term trend right now, but who knows. It's going to be a decisive year for crypto in general either way.
