Debating on the same my account profit is down nearly 50% because of this. Having 2 thought on it though. 1 is that the market will correct itself as time goes by and more non S. Korean buyers come in. 2 is pull it all and wait until all the news passes but by then it could be too late to buy back in.

Investors always panic at these things when it all starts to look red. It happens sometimes but it will return to normal.

Today, the government is preparing to take measures to create a panic in the cryptocurrency market, as it did in China last September.

China did this before but after that a massive bullrun happened. South Korea is about to do what China did. If this happens then bitcoin and other crypto will reach new ATH.

Better to sell now it you cant attain the price drop.

In my opinion, although it is necessary to supervise, the formulation of regulations will take a certain amount of time, so we may not need to worry too much about this information in this month.

Personally, I don't try to day trade, all my holdings are long term at this point. Definitely looking to acquire some cheap ETH if it drops a lot in the next few days, as I don't think this will be a long downturn.

Just like all the past FUD, this too will pass. Do not panic.
Got this on my twitter feed from a trader:

Just called my counter part in Korea, he says that the reports are FUD. The position is that the Korean authorities are clamping down on unregulated exchanges and exchanges that are not compliant. Further they are auditing the quality of the KYC. A ban is not on the cards.

Yeah I think they just wanted to scare exchanges and traders so that they follow the tax rules. Which govt doesn't want tax?? Hope I had extra cash to buy

So its just a FUD. Many panicked because of this. So it is the best time to buy. I wish the same thing.

I will still suggest you to hold because it may rise again like we never expected before but it did increase and most of us regretted later for not saving the bitcoins.

Sell if you don't believe in crypto. If you're here because of the gains, better sell it.
Hodl if you believe in it, tech and applications, decentralization, etc. Price won't matter.

Big bounce happening already! Global market cap came down to support zone of low $600s Billion and
has now bounced above $650 billion already in last few minutes. Once it goes back in $700 - $800 billion
range, this correction will be over.

Dang! No need to worry after Park's statement that South Korea will ban all cryptocurrency trading. The dump happened many times, but it will rebound a bit later.

I'm even happy that the prices dump to make way for buyers to buy more at a low price. Yeah, I know the feeling that we're in panic if Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are falling down, just like stocks. I just thanked FUDders for us to buy back and #HODL. Wink

If it goes down, the prices will go up twice, thrice or even more than that later on.

Question is not SELL or HODL, the real question will be BUY or HODL.
If you haven't started to HODL you should buy step by step till drop stops.
