Anoncoin is kind of old. With old specs. It had come back-to-live period this summer but now it's again in the dead zone.
From anonymous coins, I like most XSPEC, PIVX and DeepOnion because of their specs AND currently low price. All three have a big potential in next 12 months and are good investment especially after counties like Russia is banning VPNs.
True, no point digging up an old fossil which may or may not have active development. Better off going with the above list as they are moving forward with new features and will continue to rise in value. |

Anoncoin might have a revival but the marketing team behind deeponion is extremely good at what they do. It will be difficult to compete in a marketplace which is increasing with privacy coins. Better to back one of the winners like deeponion.

Early coin from 2013 with nice privacy features.
Dogecoindark became Verge, now at 66 mil marketcap.
Darkcoin became Dash, need I say more?
Anoncoin still a small player at sub 1 mil mcap but with huge upside.
As always DYOR.

This coin has done great since I posted this thread, now trading at about 10 mil mcap
Thats over 10x.

Old coins always have small growth potential, it's better to look fo new coins - it will make x10-x100 more easy

For 5 years, the coin has not done anything significant. Rather, the developers did not add anything so unique that it became known. So it is not worth considering it in the future, either it is dead or there is already very little liquidity in the market. |

PIVX is probably a better choice. PIVX is a fast and private currency coin (1st coin to implement Zero Coin on top of 100% Proof of Stake).
Absolutely agree. I think that the PIVX have a very good growth potential, and in Anoncoin (ANC) I'm not sure. |
