They both have prospects and basically for 2 different purposes, but asides so many things that makes bitcoin better, the fact that it has been able to stand the test of time, thrived no matter what and has a huge support Base, then I will always choose Bitcoin as No. 1.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I still prefer to use or invest into the bitcoin because the bitcoin is the king of all crypto and still it is good for long term investment also Ethereum’s performance in the past few years has impressive.

I prefer bitcoin to ethereum in 2018. The market has been going down every now and then this year and both bitcoin and ethereum are going down in prices too everyday. Though the price of the two coins are going down but the price decreasing rate of bitcoin is still better than that of ethereum. Even around 3weeks ago, the price of bitcoin increased whereas ethereum was still going down in price. So I prefer bitcoin because it is worth investing on in 2018 due to the stability in price that it has more than ethereum in 2018.

Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?
I think this year again the price for BTC will grow very quickly, but maybe I'm wrong and therefore I advise investing in both coins.

At that time Bitcoin might have been corrected but Altcoin hasn't finished climbing. But of course at this time we will all agree that no altcoin will give competition to Bitcoin this year. And even when Bitcoin is pumped more than 30% at the beginning of this semester, Ethereum hasn't moved in the direction we want.

In my opinion, this year BTC will be a more profitable coin.  But if you are planning to invest now, it's better to buy ETH because the price for BTC has already grown to $ 7000.

Both these coins have a chance to increase their price but compared to ETH, bitcoin price will increase be fair better because already the market is growing from the $6k to 8500$. Even though ETH potential but it is not possible for ETH to cross the value of Bitcoin.

Yes you are right.  I also think that the price for BTC will grow faster, but now the price for BTC is only $ 7000.

etherium and bitcoin have good potential, even though etherium has very many and fast transactions. but bitcoin is one of the crypto coins that has the highest price among the altcoins. Bitcoin and etherium coins are very good for investing

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency in history and the most popular in the world. Created at the turn of 2008-2009. Despite such a "respectable age", the cryptocurrency is actively developing, on the basis of the bitcoin blockchain, various solutions for its improvement are being developed and implemented. It was the appearance of bitcoin that caused such a rapid development of the cryptocurrency market and the regular appearance of a variety of digital assets. At the heart of bitcoin is the revolutionary blockchain technology, which has been actively researched and developed by the largest companies in the world for several years, and is also used in many industries.

I still choose ethereum
It is the platform's digital currency for creating decentralized online blockchain-based services (Dapps) running on the basis of smart contracts. If bitcoin is often called "digital gold “(for the complexity of its production, limited supply and excellent investment quality), then Ethereum is sometimes called the”digital analogue of oil". This is because the ETH cryptocurrency is something like a “fuel” for smart contracts and Dapps created on their basis.

I still hold bitcoint for this year even though it has decreased, but it is only natural in cryptocurrency, ethereum certainly also has the best coint after bitcoint, but until now I don't think anyone can beat bitcoint yet.

Comparing ethereum with bitcoin at this stage is simply not possible. Bitcoin has gained much more popularity and adoption than ethereum and still remains the favourite coin to many enthusiasts of cryptocurrency. Ethereum is good though but would need more time, adoption and popularity to favourably compete with bitcoin.

Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?
Both these coins in 2018 disappointed their investors. The etherium can no longer independently move against the market, as it did in 2017. Now it depends entirely on the price of bitcoin, which is very weak and constantly falling.

They both are going to increase in some time, but for me ethereum is going to increase more aggressively during this year, I mean it might be touching 2k$ soon.
