I just read an article about how to create a paper wallet using Rippex (rippex.net).  Does anyone happen to know if Rippex is trustworthy?

Havent heard much about them.  When looking at an ICO, I tend to study the about us and whitepaper the most.  If I believe in the project, and the founders seem trustworthy, I have no problem dropping some coins thereway

This isn't an ICO. Have you even visited the site he posted? My god. It's a paper wallet  ( service) for an already established currency called "Ripple".

To @OP, take a look at some other threads around rippex here for example, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2361800.0.
