Mining and hosting are different activities. You can mine without hosting or host without mining.
Very basic explanation for you guys...
with hdd you can host SIA , but you can not mine SIA
with GPU you can mine SIA , but you can not host SIA

HDD mining is only one option - Burst.
Storj and Sia is not mining - it's renting.
Profit is very low even with Burst. But with storj you will get next to nothing.
