Hello Everyone. I believe that 2018 is the rising of Altcoins.
my top picks for 2018 are as follows:

1. Cardano (ADA), the project behind the ADA coin, offers a blockchain environment that supports financial applications in an efficient and secure way. It boosts an architecture that has both users and regulators in mind, an unusual set up. Cardano ($ADA) could come to offer e-commerce providers a structure where they can operate with the benefits of the blockchain while obeying by the rules of the regulators overseeing them.

2. Electroneum ( ETN) is a mobile cryptocurrency which is powered by a mobile app. Electroneum promises to become the first digital coin to have general usage by its groundbreaking ease-of-use for the common mobile user.

3. STORM is an ERC20 compliant token operating on the Ethereum blockchain.

Storm will use the blockchain to expand their platform to create StorMarket, a decentralized micro-task marketplace economy. StorMarket will be a place where people can go to utilize their skills and talents to complete various tasks. In addition, automation via blockchain technology will allow for all of the project management and marketing aspect of a micro-task to be integrated into the platform.

4. Stellar (XLM) is a distributed, hybrid blockchain that is fully open-source. It is infrastructure that exists to facilitate cross-asset transfers of value, including payments. With just one integration into the Stellar Network, you will join an open, global financial network where all actors – be they people, payment networks, or banks – have equal access & economic participation.

5. EOS(EOS) is similar to a decentralised operating system, in practice this means that developers can build applications on EOS. Owning EOS coins is a claim on server resources. A developer needs to have EOS coins to use the EOS blockchain.

What are your thoughts about this, Can you share your top 5 picks too?

I agree with you on ETN - I think this is the year that the mobile experience and crypto are going to be tightly intertwined.

I'm also inclined to think DeepOnion (see sig) is going to have a great year.

Beyond that, I'm still checking out a few here and there. I'll be interested to see everyone else's picks.

yes your list also quite pretty good for the investors for the year of 2018.  ads and EOS are the best coins from your list. as per my recommendations  coins for the year of 2018 is  wabi, eth , sia , ardr and eos too. wabi still giving highest ROI investers. 20x potential already given. ETH have some stable way , when i get ETH , it was 340$ now it has increased up to 1500$. Investing on ICO's also best thing , my ICO's list for 2018 is  ABT,Gonetwork, Bluzelle

we all need universal power and cyclist of Everything
-2023 would most likely be as bearish as 2022-
=BTC will make it, but might be a long winter=

First of all, thank you for your summary and share. I am optimistic about EOS, but XLM may not be a good choice, XRP is always better than it.

Last year, I participated in 2 different ICO projects.  Hacken and Wagerr.  Both of these projects are doing very well so far this year even though it is not getting the attention that many large projects receive.  Both tokens may or may not be a top altcoin in 2018 but they will be very profitable altcoins this year.

of the 5 alt you say, I just agree with stellar. because in this year old alt will pump hard. for other alt like ada, etn, storm, eos is also good and probably will go into top 20.

I prefer small cap coins and I think they will outperform big names like ADA from your list.

For example, VIBE have a great potential in the AR niche.
Oyster Pearl have a huge potential in decentralized hosting.
And few ICOs, like Streamity, IQeon, uTrust.

I have to caution this with I have a very limited knowledge when it comes to the tech side but from what I've read on their white paper, ICX looks like it could be a major player in a year. They already have a tech ready being used in a few hospitals and universities in South Korea. Maybe as well it was the Deleuze quote to frame the paper but I really like this idea. Im also on the Ven chain as they have so many existing contracts and look to really change the landscape in China. Req, Ada and Iota are all others that Im looking at long term

To be honest, I do not really think Electroneum ( ETN) is
that promising. And I am not convinced with using mobile phone for mining.
I mean mobile app is common, but how much processing power is there to power the whole ecosystem?

Bitbean, TaaS and other coins that earn satoshis because high prices of many coins, coupled with a Myriad of new crypto adopters will want this digital Mana from the heavens but won't want to pay high prices for it.

I am loving deeponion, cardano, ethos venchain and a mastetnode coin called tokuguwa. All have been doing really well recently and seems that they are going to shine in 2018. On a side note i think as new money pours into the crypto world we wrll see a blanket increase across all coins in my opinion.

2018 will probably end with a big bang leaving only the "good" ones alive. I do not believe that any Ethereum Token will survive this crash.

Funfair is good! It is to revolutionize the online gaming industry. The platform is working to bring current physical casinos to blockchain. Imagine casinos using blockchain. Currently it is very cheap valued at $0.12

maybe my opinion other than the one mentioned above.
I think TIO (trade.io) is also altcoin which will give a very promising advantage even though the price is not too expensive!
