Very cool stuff happening here in Provo. This morning Austin had a phone call with one of the executives at the corporate offices of a local large format grocery store. They want to help us with our project, and they are going to let us pay in bitcoin! Not only that, this company has about two dozen stores in four different states.
We can't tell you the name of the store yet, because we haven't worked out all the details. We also don't know when they are going to make bitcoin purchasing available to everyone, but step-by-step we are making progress. Another cool fact about this development is the same company owns a local hardware store and a gas station, and they are going to let us pay in bitcoin at all of these locations.
