depending on community interest and how quickly you want the premine stigma to go, i'd say hold half and throw around the rest quickly before people lose interest.

0.5% is based on a figure years from now. Why not put hey we mined enough blocks to cover 11 days of mining?

OK thanks for no longer misleading the public, now they can make a more informed opinion on whether this coin is any different than the other coins that keep getting made and compared to others that also have a pre-mine for services.
I have said it before and apparently must say it again.
IF YOUR COIN IS GREAT ENOUGH THERE IS NO NEED FOR A PREMINE, BECAUSE COINS THAT ARE GREAT, PEOPLE SUPPORT WITHOUT PAYMENT!
