Well I hate to admit that I'm still using a dinosaur in my current computer (which is otherwise pretty high end), but I am. To anyone familiar with the OCZ Vertex Series of drives, I have an ORIGINAL Vertex. Not a Vertex 2, 3 or 4. The first series. I bought it back when $150 for 60GB was a steal.  Shocked Anyway, it's showing it's age now and the size is a bit of a pain since I have to clear the drive often even with 3.5TB of extra space.

As the title states I'm looking for a SSD that's anywhere from 120GB to 256GB in size. Sata 3 is a must... it's almost 2014 for crying out loud. Must be TRIM supporting (what drives aren't though?). I'm looking for MLC and not TLC. SLC used to be available in large sizes, but must be cost prohibitive now. I don't need any particular size drive because it's just going in a desktop, so don't try selling me a "slim laptop drive" and trying to get more.

I can buy a brand new, in box, with warranty Mushkin drive for $.68/GB so I really won't look at offers higher than that unless it's a fantastic drive. I'm not against buying used, but things like limited write drives are one of those items you have to be careful with. Used drives will probably take a large hit from retail, UNLESS you can prove the drive was not used for many hours. Post or PM anything you've got!

I've got an OCZ Agility 3 120GB SATA III MLC that I just got back from RMA last week. It's still in the package, unopened. It's the same as THIS, except I bought it from Newegg last year. PM me if you're interested.

Tips? 1crazy8pMqgwJ7tX7ZPZmyPwFbc6xZKM9

F*cked if I know, I thought it was a mistake at first so I took screens of the deal before tentatively buying one - when the order was confirmed (with free next-day shipping!) I went and bought 2 more, can't go wrong at that price  Cheesy Cheesy

Expect to see a couple on ebay shortly........ Wink

Soooo, the delivery date has been & gone. Starting to think I should have paid more attention to the shite reviews for this company..... Cheesy

Still, I'm protected by my credit card so am not too worried - but if anyone is considering ordering something from this company - DON'T!!  At least wait a few days & check back here, if I do get these SSD's I'll let you know.

It's such a bummer to be scammed eh?  Cheesy Cheesy
