ebay £11 usb hub modification

Good morning all,

I have unfortunately bought cheap Chinese USB hubs powered .
I am told that i can boost the ampage on these hubs, so that it supports all ten usb ports.

1. can i make the modification on the usb cable so there is no feedback to the Computer.

2. can the hub be modded to support all ports ie 10 ports each to provide minimum 2.5 watts?

if any body with the knowledge please provide some pointers/.


I can send pictures of the hub dismantled. as soon as i find out how on this forum.

Never buy cheap Chinese USB hubs.
Not all Chinese devices bad, but especially USB hubs from China are very bad.
