Mostly people playing gambling is using bitcoin and the others are altcoin due to low transaction fees, but it doesn't matter to me which coin I have to use as long as I can be earned profit from gambling. Yes, mostly gamblers are aiming for the prize just have a money.
But now some gambling site is accepting altcoins in depositing in their account like Primedice and Stake.com.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I personally prefer dogecoin and ethereum but these days ethereum also have network congestion and fee is really high so dogecoin is best right now.

Raiblocks is another coin that have no confirmation time and zero fee and I think it will be accepted in some casino soon because nobody wants to wait for hours to get confirmation and pay high fees just to move coins in and out of the casino.

What other coins you guys think can be viable option for crypto based casinos?

I think bitcoin that is because most of online cryptocurrency gambling sites accept bitcoin as the main currency to gamble and also I know that gambling sites want more bitcoin due to the increase of the price and it is also the highest price in any other currency right now.

Doge will be the best choice for the best coin for gambling for someone that is keeping his precious bitcoins and ethereums.
Are you exchanging your coins to doge to gamble?

I was also using altcoins to gamble when transaction fees were very high but now bitcoin transaction fees are very reasonable so not doing this conversion instead using bitcoins directly for gambling because my earnings are in Bitcoin.
That question might not for me directly but I'll answer it, that's what I do. I'm exchanging some of my bitcoin for Doge so that I have more Doge's in return but that's only a very limited bitcoin to exchange.
If the main reason you are exchanging your bitcoin for doge is because of the quantity of doge you are going to be having then you are really missing the point. Not the point with respect to the topic alone, but the general idea of holding bitcoin. I will leave you to doing some research about doge to know why I have said that.

It may have a huge community, some pretty old coin, but that does not make it less of a joke and which is why I prefer gambling with it anyway.
No matter what would be the reason then its still ends up on a gamblers preference and views on which coin he would used up.People are entirely different to each other. Some do like to play with bitcoin directly and some do like to play with altcoins no matter on what would be the reasons then its for their own personal as long we do enjoy and find ways on how to gamble then we should not care about peoples advices if they would oppose or not.
Yes the reason is different from person to person, I was used BTC to play gambling but for me, the price of the BTC made me stop playing with bitcoins and the confirmation time also one reason. so now I am using altcoins the price is less and fast transactions and more importantly most of the casinos are allowed us to play with altcoins.

In fact most of the people are using bitcoin for playing gambling, and that is also a fact that majority of online casinos only accept bitcoin therefore most of the people are using bitcoin for playing gambling including me. Although some casino may also be accepting other altcoin but i personally never use any other crypto currency for trading and will always like to continue using playing gambling with bitcoin, because it always more easy and convenient to use bitcoin for playing gambling.

Bitcoin is always the best option for gambling, the only problem is that the fee is too high now. I think XRP and XLM, it will be good choices.

Our crypto lottery platform (currently in beta) https://8bet.io/beta was initially built using Bitcoin (BTC) as the native currency. Lottery and other jackpot/community games need to have a native currency even if they allow multiple other currencies for deposits/betting - this is so that the central jackpot amount can be denoted in a single (native) currency.

However, we had to change to Bitcoin Cash (BCH) as the native currency at the end of last year, as skyrocketing fees and long/unpredictable confirm times made it impossible to continue with BTC as the native currency  (although it is still accepted as a deposit currency). If you're interested in the rationale on why we changed, we've posted a blog post about this at https://8bet.io/blog/why-we-switched-to-bitcoin-cash-days-before-our-online-lottery-launch/

Earlier i used to do gambling with btc when the transaction fees was low and speed was good but now with the fees touching moon playing with it has become so expensive and risky as it is too volatile currency to deal in.Considering the element of speed LTC is good option as it also avoid congestion problem on the network. If you have some of the BCH in your wallet from the fork then playing with them is also good as it is not risky to loose them.At this time ETH is also expensive and take time to deal in so avoid that option also.

Because of the high volatility of Bitcoins, most people are resulting to using alt coins such as Dash, ETH, LTC and a whole to gamble as long as the casinos accepts them. They have low fees and they are confirmed within a few minutes letting the person to gamble quickly.

Though those altcoins are also volatile anyway. If you guys don't want to deal with volatility then probably cryptocurrency gambling should not be your thing. Volatility is inherent in all crypto, there is no crypto that is stable at the moment (maybe there are but most likely it is not offered in casinos). DASH, ETH, LTC and others have been historically been volatile. Heck, even DOGE is volatile.

I think it is still BITCOIN because its performance remained unparalleled despite the many times its price heavily fluctuates. No other altcoin ever better stood when Bitcoin's price was suffering. In fact, when Bitcoin's price falls, all altcoins follow the same fate, albeit a little later. But you see, if you base everything on data, you will know why Bitcoin is still the top choice. Although you would have to be wary because of its tendency to fluctuate substantial percent in every second. Likewise, taking into consideration how expensive it is as compared to all other altcoins. With this, you may be on the winning or losing end.

I don't think the current bitcoin transaction fees are high because it is around 0.5$ and transaction also getting confirmed quite fast. I do agree a couple of months back it used to be very high but not now.

I like mostly bitcoin to gambling even with current bitcoin fee but I used litecoin when transaction fees was super high like $70+.

Even dogecoin gains popularity in gambling since it does not have a maximum coin supply like Bitcoin and Litecoin do and much practical to spend it on gambling and reserves the other coin to hold or to trade, however, we all know that it's more exciting to win in BTC that's why most gambler wants to bet thru BTC even its too volatile and good to hold.

Yes, dogecoin seems to be the one that get into gambling once after bitcoin. Most users feel convenient with bitcoin over any of the other altcoins accepted for the purpose of gambling. The transaction fee at present is a big factor which needs to be considered while gambling and this let's the users think of bigger amounts on gambling.

At this time? No, it's not the best option to gamble while the price of bitcoin is currently falling. The fees of bitcoin now aren't too expensive and you can pay 20 sats per byte so that's affordable and unlike before when bitcoin is on all time high, the fees were crazy.

What is the relation between gambling and bitcoin price falling?

For each session, I fix a certain amount of money to spend on gambling so I spend an equal amount in cryptos. If prices are high then I will spend fewer coins and if prices are low then I will spend slightly more coins. So I don't understand why one shouldn't spend bitcoins for their entertainment purpose if prices are low.

I agree gamblers who also sometimes a traders are looking for much better alternatives, good reason is the fee and the speed of the transactions, especially those who always in the hurry they wanted to have a much faster network to satisfied their lust, those alts which you mentions are on the
top of crypto's who can cater what the gamblers needs alongside with btc.

Bitcoin is the most reliable and cool coin in the market of virtual currencies for making huge profits, so I will never ever suggest anyone to gambling with bitcoin because of its capabilities to increase in value over small time. Even at present, it is highly expected to increase in market price and that too with jaw-dropping pace. Gambling is highly unpredictable game and you are unable to control the results of the bet. Altcoins are best option for gambling online.

Now that the fees are low thanks to Segwit bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and I think it is the most widely accepted coin in many different casinos. Playing with altcoins is a good thing if you like playing with alts but many casinos do not support all the alts, and some do not support alts at all.
