People try to use other exchanges as Etherdelta is a complete ripoff with all the stupid gas fees. Every move you need to do there you will be charged. They should be banned.

Banned? Lol. Actually, people should be banned for being crazy enough to use it. Everything costs too much but Etherdelta hides behind it calling it "gas" fees.
The only reason its alive is because it has the most number of ERC20 tokens that can be traded. Don't worry because exchanges like KuCoin may soon support tokens as well and we will finally be able to be free of etherdelta. If you want to help get rid off etherdelta i think the best thing you can do right now is to boycott etherdelta and switch to Kucoin.

Forgive my poor English.....
I am already busy for two days to get in contact with an ED rep. No succes so far!
These bastards has a public twitter group where i could not discover any ED representive to answer all complainments from the users. The most given answer by users is: increase the GAS price.....
Since 5 days i had several failed orders on ED which ate about $100 or more at fees plus i missed buy/sell oppertunities.
I tried several GAS price fees and still no succes.... only thing what is succesfull is my decreasing amount of ETH! AND THIS MAKES ME REALLY PISSED OFF!
So ED bastards....
Why is your echange so fucking slow and from this very user unfriendly?
Why do i need to pay fees for a failed order?
Can you explain why my orders fails so many?
When will ED be user friendly?
Why is it still possible that wrong orders are accepted (for example amount and price switched) and not get blocked by the system or sold/bought for the highest/lowest price in order book like bittrex and other exchanges do?
Does somebody has an email- twitter address where i can contact the bastards with all my questions?

I'm not a fan of them either, also I see they are not doing well in their ICO. I don't think they will last long.
Same, but etherdelta is good because a lot of tokens listed there and no account needed so it is easier to trade tokens for eth. Ico is scandal. |

I didn't know about this issue, but it's surely bad if that's the case. I try to use more common exchanges not to find myself in such inconvenient situations. However, it all depends on how high the rates really are, since etherdelta is also a place of the prices which differ a lot from those on bigger exchanges. For example, I remember that once when blackmoon cost 70 cents it was $1.4 on etherdelta for about 10 minutes and if one had bmc there at that time I bet it was a great price to sell it even under high gas fees. |

Ed is a fraud for me now. It was good for me at beginning. Now hacked, sold and a senseless ico. I tried so transfer my coin on ed wallet and spent 23$ for transaction. Transaction was refused.wtf? My money just gone for nothing. |

If you need to quickly merge coins erderlta very much helps. And for the gas think those who trade and they need to react to it. |

With Idex and Ddex there is better DEXs already. Cobinhood will also add a decentralized exchange to their offering. With ED it is very easy to lose money to entering wrong data. With buy orders for example it is enough to confuse the price and the amount you want to buy and you are royally screwed. Idex really much better to use. |

ED has been out of use for a long time, because his transaction cost is high, the speed is slow, the transaction experience is very bad! People still use it now, because as long as it is the ERC20 series token, it can be traded in the first place! But now there's another FD! The market of crypto-currencies is a free market. Nobody forces anyone to use specific exchanges for trading. There is always a choice. But at the moment the infrastructure is not as perfect as we would like. But do not forget that the crypto currency at the beginning of its development. Therefore, we will have to wait until the tools for trade are not statute more perfect. Let's compare the Forex market: today - a day's turnover-billions of dollars. But Forex began 40 years ago. |

I agreed that etherdelta’s fees is high and the website is slow. I do not enjoy trading there as well. If the token I want to trade is in another exchange, I will definitely not choose etherdelta.

us alternative of etherdelta like idex , soon etherdelta exchange will be a dead exchange.. etherdelta charge usually 15 gewi gas fee for a smooth transaction . i don't use it now and left it for good |

Were you expecting them to providing their services to you for free? they have ends meet to make too and maintaining a platform takes money so it is only normal that they collect fees for the services that they provide to you. Gas prices are normal for ethereum and ether based tokens. If you do not like it there, then there are lots of others which you can use instead of etherdelta.

Etherdelta has its pros and cons. It is good for people who want to remain anonymous since there is no registration needed. And it support those tokens that other exchanges do not want to list.

I would rather hold for other exchange to get my coin listed than sell my coin in an exchange like etherdelta.
The only advantage they have got is they accept some coi a that can not be listed or that could not meet up the asking price of big exchanges like binance and the rest.
Easy to visit but not enticing for trade

The only nice thing about etherdelta that it does not need minimum amount of equivalent ETH to trade compared to some DEX like IDEX which require a minimum amount of .15 ETH of token equivalent to do the exchange. Other than that etherdelta had become worst than ever before that's why i am switching now to IDEX and FD.

I got the same problem 1 month ago, when I went to ED. 2 Days to whitedraw coins on it ,with an extreme rate of gas...It was my last time. I do not advice to trade with them.

What did you expect? That is how a DEX works, but if you want to adjust the gas (gwei) you can and to begin with it is set to 4 gwei which is standard. Don't know how much cheaper you want to transact with... Any DEX fwiw is going to have the same costs, it isn't just EtherDelta. |

There are smaller decentralized exchanges with more fair fees. Token.Store is one of them. And you can, actually, set your own gas price there and general fees are very low.

it has been more than 220 days since I know cryptocurrency and still use the rest of Etherdelta, that is forkdelta.Even when I still use Etherdelta, all the activities inside are still fairly reasonable, The other exchange also do the same thing related to this fee isn't ?
I think the Fee is only valid if we are trading instantly, either instant buy or sell
