Hi Crypto Community,

Be aware that BITFINCOIN ICO is a scam and a ponzi scheme.
I have deposited 0.27632 eth on January 05, 2018 as a test deposit to find out whether this ICO is a legit or a scam.
It turn out to be true that this ICO is a scam. Following facts are indicated that this ICO is a scam.

1. You cannot buy BITFINCOIN although you have deposited ETH to your online account https://ibb.co/cxO0XR
2. You cannot widthdraw your own ETH from your online account although withdraw option is available under your online account. As of 12/01/2018, a message appears as "Withdraws are disabled for security reason...."
3. OP and support team are not helpful as they do not care once they got your coins even you contacted them and given them a reasonable time frame. https://ibb.co/n0Lse6 | https://ibb.co/mQ5YK6
4. Most of the positive comments under the ICO are posted by newbie accounts and imposing the ICO as a legit one.
5. Their white paper has only 6 pages with lots of images and only highlighted on 48% landing return which indicated that this is 100% PONZI.
6. There is no solid team  behind this ICO

ONCE YOU SENT YOUR COINS THEN THEY ARE GONE AND YOU GET ZERO RETURN.

To be honest, I’m not entirely sure. After the ICO finishes I can give you guys a better prediction, however looking at how they have conducted themselves thus far I would have to say that a $10-15 within 1 month price per coin is very reasonable(and actually quite conservative).

" a $10-15 within 1 month price per coin is very reasonable(and actually quite conservative)."

I think this price target is a big joke.

Now watch this video, please - very poor blabla - and the enthusiastic - surely launched - comments!

„BIC provides a simple, fast, secure means of payment with high liquidity. Most importantly, it is risk-free and anonymous. This, we hope, will create room for novices to learn and pros to earn (maybe even visa-versa).“

(White Paper extract)

Oh, it is risk-free? Nobody with serious business planning will declare his conception "risk-free". All disclaimers note: INVESTMENT IN THIS PROJECT IS NOT RISK-FREE!

"visa-versa" is a common misspelling of vice versa, especially used in African countries with British backgrounds.

In the small image of the YouTube video (# 4) with the Bitfincoin promoting guy in the right corner below you can read: BAHALA NA. I think that´s the guys nickname. But what does this mean?

First explanation: https://www.tagaloglang.com/bahala-na/

Second explanation: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bahala%20Na%20Gang

OK, if you should loose money with BITFINCOIN: KEEP CALM - BAHALA NA !

The same guy currently also makes promotion for BITCONNECT in YouTube videos - in a very primitive way. Nothing being convincing, NOT AT ALL!

Since about four weeks I watch a lot of sudden abnormal price/marketcap moves in certain cryptos.

Here a small selection:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/safe-trade-coin/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cindicator/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dentacoin/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/russiacoin/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/vibe/

I am convinced that these cryptos - and a lot more - are (ab)used as ideal instruments for money laundering - anonymous, not controlled, fast.

0.2xxx is not testing, if you want to test try minimum deposit amount first. If in the future you want to participate in ICO again, please make quick research first see their company and developer background etc. and before make any big deposit amount just sent minimal amount to participated first.

Firstly It could take sometime a few hours before your eth coins are received so please be patient and stop being so quick to judge a book before reading it. I haven’t had a single problem with the platform so far. Everything looks legit except for the roadmap which they have already updated. I invested a substantial amount of money on the the platform and I haven’t had a single problem. As for exchmage? Use common sense buddy it’s an ICO for an reason. It means you can’t withdraw your coins until ICO has ended and exchange goes live. It’s people like you with false or inaccurate information that bring shame to the age of information! I’m sure you have the brains to educate yourself a bit so that next time you go out and cry wolf people believe you a bit more. Information like the one you have just posted is what deviates people from catching an opportunity of a life time. If you want to inform us lease do not sell misinformation to the public. For those who were members of Bitconnect I want you all to
Use common sense just for a min. Some say that Bitconnect was a Ponzi or whatever classifications you want to tag it with. Bitconnect was not a Ponzi. It was actually a very successful platform that was attacked by the government, managed by inexperienced directors resulting in a collapse of the coin when they were obliged to close down platform. I wasn’t a director or a promoter I was an average joe investor. But I can do my own thinking and to me this all makes perfect sense. These are very different times we are living and we are currently at the midst of a revolution. These platforms that use Blockchain tech with cryptos is the revolution and it is in the beginning stages so of course many things will go wrong. But if you understand that this is something that will be the change to the world and it will succeed then you must know that cryptos and any platform that uses Blockchain tech is a great investment.

@Cryptodestiny

"... you must know that cryptos and any platform that uses Blockchain tech is a great investment."

Do you really believe this? I think it´s very delusive. Neither all cryptos nor any platform that uses Blockchain will succeed in the long run. There are special stimulus expressions often used on the crypto companies websites which may promotively function for a certain time: blockchain - ecosystem - DAO - smart contracts - bit... - high returns - riskless. But at a longer last substance is determining for success. In my estimation only a small part (perhaps about 20 %) of cryptos/ICO financed companies will survive. Mostly they are trash.

CRYPTOS ARE NOT ONE WAY EVENTS.

I completely agree. No support answer anymore, Telegram with no exchanges published, Twitter unexistant, ETH wallet locked and withdrawal cannot be made of course, this is large scale theft...No name, no address by the way. Expect to be treated by the robot!

Today Feb. 28, they dare say in a one-way anonymous message on Telegram (on which you cannot respond) that we should send the tokens back to our MEW....well without saying where they will be quoted! They pretend that they are still negotiating with the local government for the lending program. Which local government, we don't know. And by the way, if you intend to withdraw the ETH which you would still have in account with them, then the withdrawal is "forbidden". In other words they collected all the ETH for themselves and they return to you tokens arbitrarily set at 10$ (!!!) for which you can hardly expect to trade them anywhere at decent price basing on present situation....

ICOs without information on the team behind them are always suspicious for me.

Even most projects with a team are not trustable, how can one be sure if they are real or not. I think before a ico, team must do lots of stuff to build a trust.

The fault is yours, you don't do better research on the project before sending your ethereum to the website, if you want to try out ICO' just go on binance exchange for better results, today it's Cartesi project turn on binance Launchpad

This is a really good point, for any real ICO project, people must show who they are, even with this is already risk, so why people put money in some ICO that they are not even know the team behind it.
And the fact is few projects have no team information in crypto space and they are doing fine, e.g Monero, Bitcoin etc, we only know that Satoshi Nakamoto is the name of bitcoin creator but never know how he looks like, anonymous team don't mean scam
