Ran a little comparison between the two cards last night after I got another one last week.  Shockingly I can replace all my 1070s in my rigs with 1070tis and get an extra 1070ti while using the same watts.  I knew they were more efficient but this is even more reason to go for the 1070ti over some of the 1070s.

All testing was done with the following GPUs, PSU and Risers.

MSI 1070 Gaming X- http://amzn.to/2D2fqiS
Mintcell Risers- http://amzn.to/2CVbRHQ

Great results, but the problem is that there is no 1070ti on the market, atleast in my country, and in amazon you can buy limited amount:(

I'm dying to get some 1070tis going on my rigs. Been trying to snag some for sub 500s but it takes some quick work on amazon lol.

Pretty much the case with all GPUs right now. Some 1070 Tis came into stock on Newegg today but sold out in 4-8 minutes.  Hopefully, there will be more but just have to be quick to get your hands on one.  Have your payment methods ready at all times.
