Just noticed bytecoin on coinwarz. Everything I see about it looks like it might be a dead coin but presumably people are still mining and selling it?

Anyone think it's worth a go?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

definitly, me, Digigami and a few other people are implementing a merged mining patch and we pretty much have a proper ASIC compatible pool with PPS payout systems ready too. My advice, mine, and stock up, you'll need it

awesome I'm kind of glad you think that, i set it up on a linux machine this morning and have 9GH/s solo mining it. I've found one block so far so might leave it running for a bit. I couldn't really find any pools so solo looks the only viable way to go at the moment?
