Help with Nvidia gtx 1080 and tdp config

Hello guys!
I've been mining mostly equihash and Lyra2Re(v2) for a couple of months now. One of my cards tends to crash if I modify its values on msi afterburner different than default but all the three of them crash if I attempt to make them run at 65 % TDP... thing is, I see lots of people using that config, saving money and getting + 3.50 Sol/s in the process. I can't lower the settings to anything below 100 % TDP if I want my Vga's not to crash.

Do any of you guys have any idea on why is this happening?

My cards are 3 Gigabyte Gtx 1080 running on a EVGA Supernova G2 1000 watts, I'm using windows 10 x64 and EWBF's 0.3.4b.
