Hi all,
Where do you all identify and then research ICO’s?
Thanks
You can research their respective threads on bitcointalk or on their website. Alternatively, you can see a lot of them on websites such as icorating and icobench which contains a lot of useful data regarding the ICO.

I have this rule for me; everytime that i am bored, i just join a lot of telegram groups, and most time, they are always talking about upcoming ICO's and which of them are going to be profitable.
Hi all, Where do you all identify and then research ICO’s?Thanks
If you use telegram, just join those groups, they are pretty easy to find and you do not need to be an expert in order to talk to them, you just need to know how to speak in english, lmao...

Most of those sites are getting paid for shilling their own ICO, so do not trust in them, most of the ratings are always paid. If an ico has 5 starts, just start doubting about it.

The first step is to identify the projects that you find interesting on the ICO listing sites (google search), and here on this forum.

Then you go deeper into your investigation:

- Read the whitepaper
- Check the website
- Subscribe to the Telegram channel.
- Check their Facebook, Twitter or Reddit.
- Look if the members seem reliable and check their Linkedin profile.

Then ask this question many times: Do you think this project has the potential for a real use case in the world?

Check the lists and then go one by one through all of them, takes some time but it is worth it.

The internet can offer you a whole lot of websites about ongoing and future ICOs, their schedules, and the basic information about them. Some are even offering you their own ratings of these ICOs. You can also visit the Announcement thread here, that is under the Alternate Cryptocurrencies section. You can read a little introduction there about their project and the tokens they are offering. You can also raise some concerns and issues by posting.

i do not recommended some one researched ico's. but i need to say we have to do own research on the ICO's. Thats not a rocket science. at least join the telegram group and raise questions about the project and the white paper. their is a web site icodrops , i can highly recommended it. there are rank based medium , high , very high like that so we can justify whats the best one. i personally invest best on that. but i do personal research too

it is true before an investment in ICO that is developing a project is of course a very important research to do about how the project development system. accurate information about the development team of ICO so that we will not get a loss of scam problems that often occur on an ICO. of course you can search for information through a website that is quite accurate there are some sites that you can get from google search to look for inpormasi about ICO.

All the accurate information can be found there because I often explore their site, then by telegram I always join to see its progress,,If looking for a good project maybe this could be a reference for us, why? because the recommended projects have business opportunities as well as excellent prospects.

My starting point is Bitcointalk and after I have identified a promising ICO I concentrate on doing due diligence by verifying the claims they make on their website and white paper. Finding promising ICO's is easy, separating the serious ones from the scammers and the dreamers is the hard part.

Hi all,
Where do you all identify and then research ICO’s?

The first thing is to find that an ico exist at all, the forum is a good place, also there are many websites where you can find info about incoming icos and finally you can use telegram and read others thoughts about it, now finding a good ico is something a lot more difficult and you need to make a through research of many icos in order to find one.

Generally speaking, I study ICO through two channels, the first one is the ANN thread of Bitcointalk forum, and the second is icodrop, through which the latest ICO information can be learned.

Most ICO's I find here on bitcointalk. Either in the specific ICO threads or in the ANN section.

When doing research and what I think is most important for a successful ICO is the team behind it. Make sure there is a real team with a proven track record before investing your money. Other than that make sure you read whitepaper, roadmaps, reddit and other online forums where people discuss pros and cons of that specific ICO.
