Businesses in Vancouver are hopping on the Bitcoin bandwagon! Could it become the next Kreuzberg, Berlin?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I've been to most of these businesses. It's awesome being able to go out for dinner, or a coffee and pay with bitcoin!

This is certainely good news! A place with a lot of Bitcoin trading going on with normal businesses in the americas might just be the example people need to see it's not a bad idea to use Bitcoin

Gah, I went to Seattle probably for the only time in my life in June...

We debated going to Vancouver, but found enough to do in Seattle... wish I woulda known about this then!

Perhaps I'll make it to Vancouver one of these days...
