One of the things i want to know more than how to mine is what to mine? mainly if you are a moving miner looking to mine new coins.

I havent found generalised sites like what to mine of much help either.

So would be cool to know which coins others are mining now and why, whether you like the coin project and believe in it or short term pump and dump.

The coins im mining now are

Electroneum- British crypto aimed at newbs based on cryptonight, seems a solid mine

Intense coin- Anonymous coin competing with verge also based on cryptonight

Sumokoin - Anonymous coin based on cryptonight if it does its road map well can compete with monero though even if it doesnt its seems a good sell value coin.

Please share the coins you are mining.

My longest coin mine is ETH. Although Network Hashrate and Diff are increasingly rising. but that's not a serious problem for me because the price of ETH converted to BTC is relatively stable and even Rise. But there are times when mining coins that have a pretty good moment for the mining like XMR, MusicCoins, BTG.

Do you need money for now or are you mining to hold?
What are you mining with?
Figure out what you need, what you have, and what it's good at, and mine that.
or check whattomine, whatever.
Cheers!
PS- I like etn too. Up to 18 cents!

hush coin my nigga! HUSH is a privacy coin, still very low market cap (over 300 on coinmarketcap).

Hush has active developers, built on zcash algo, and best of all they are the only privacy coin out there where they are developing a encrypted messenger which is a part of the wallet, so now you can chat with and send money to your dealer all on one platform!!! you heard it here first!

I was doing nanopool mining for the ethereum from the past 3 months and I do understand that itself profitable to me. When we need to expect the more profit you can go with the Nice hash mining bro. Today I have changed mining pool setting to Dagger, equihash and cryptonight alone.
We may expect the profit around 600 USD with the 5 cards in the rig bro.

I'm Dual mining with Claymore mining. I'm mining Ethereum and Decred. I found that siacoin mining goes to slow and Decred gives a nice extra gain, without using extra energy.

As the pice of both coins has increased significantly in the last month it becomes a lot more profitable to mine them

Electroneum was the first crypto I was going to attempt mining, but it didn't work out (was using the Mac Direct Miner, but my computer speed was not enough to handle it). I guess I will stick to regular investing (might give a try to their mining simulation once it launches).

Interesting that this site shows ETH and its forks as best one for efficency. The best is, of course, electronics and sumocoin since it spreads power over everyone mining the forks.

try xmr stacker, works well on lower end hardware, uses gpus(s) plus chip cores.

ETN support in non existent, waiting for reply over a month still no answer

I have 2 etn wallets, I was forced to open a new one as the older one is stuck and now that one too is not updating with funds from mining stuck there that i needed to shift today

phone mining is a gimmick, how much money can you make with 100H/s and difficulty going up whilst killing your phone resources?

in short for 3/4billion usd company they are doing a terrible job and I have no plans mining or using their crap wallet or non existent service anymore

SUMOKOIN yields far better monetary results and is price stable

to mine or not to mine,
is not a question...

Among the best equihash algo coins to mine now is SnowGem https://snowgem.org
It is fairly new, but with a solid roadmap and technical expertise it has great potential with masternodes aimed at Q3 2018 and already listed on stocks exchange under SNG. Definitely worth looking at if this is your game.

The coins listed are no longer new. It's too late to mine it a lot  and wait for a pump. Use the site  Whattomine- very useful.

For stable profit I would choose mining of ethereum or litecoin (if you mine ether, you will be able to sell gpu's in future but can't say the same about special miners.
What to mine is best to determine which coin can give you max profit at the moment, othereise just mine low priced coins and hold.
Despite the fact that others can pump very highly, still I would choose ethereum, see stable potential in this coin not only in 2018 but in future too.

My advice is not to mine only one coin if you have financial opportunities, because its more profitable to mine different, perspective coins. You know that there are coins which price may be x5 or x10 in 2 or 3 month.you need to consider this fact and mine as many alts as you can because i think it will be more secure way to invest your resources than mining only one coin.you can also mine ethereum and siacoin or decreed together but its logically that, processor temperature will be higher(+7-8 degree). So I just want to say that there are very perspective coins and therefore the demand and price will be higher, maybe its not profitable now but it may be in the future,so don't make decisions based on only today's facts.
