Some dick on ebay ordered 11 units from me - when I shipped them, the address he used didn't exist so they went to a holding depot. Then he asked for a full refund which I did. Then he tried to arrange a re-delivery to a different address. Luckily I was able to prove I was the sender because I kept the receipt from the tracked package.

Now I'm waiting for the units to be returned which could take up to a month.

Be careful selling on ebay.

His id was adampatrick3

My fault for not checking his feedback was zero and he was a new user - but I had over 10 sales that day and took my eye off the ball.

Scammer: gsk_wood (ebay id)

Did a chargeback on a whopping 0.05 btc sale (before I realized how selling btc for paypal is a HORRIBLE idea). If he is willing to scam for such a small amount of $, I'm sure he would jump at the chance to scam for something big. He has 23 feedback but has never left feedback for anyone else.

I sell Bhut Jolokia "Ghost" Chili seeds and other hot pepper seeds for BTC. PM me for details.

Hi, for those that doesn't know you can block ebay users here:
http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
This is my list:
james_musacchio, truetina8401, typingmoon
They "change their mind" after they won the auction, by the time those cases were close the price of the usb miner was reduced and I ended up loosing money. I only going to use "buy it now" from now on (to require them to pay instantly)

I had a non paying bidder too zulse. Thanks for the tip - all of these are going on my block list.

[EDIT] full list so far - would be good if we could keep a full list comma separated in the OP

adampatrick3, egoy1, gsk_wood, james_musacchio, truetina8401, typingmoon, zulse

That's the risk you take when you do BEST OFFER . If they do not pay you can submit a unpaid item dispute to get a refund on fees!

I sold .20 btc (huge amount huh?) to lanesmithhea51  who paid in full, then a notice came through saying the transaction took place when someone had used the account without the holders knowledge  So I lost .2 btc.

Person even sent me a message asking for more bitcoins and gave me positive feedback.

Paypal dispute still ongoing but from their previous feedback they have been buying quite a lot of btc going back a few weeks.

Gave paypal evidence pointing to the fact that I had sent the payment to the btc address they had specified and that it was completed and received.

Ebay user: matrix.computers.az

Says his Block Erupter is running under 300Mh so he wants a refund and opens a case (at this point he had been mining for 10 days).

I agree to a full refund upon return of the item about a week ago. I am guessing he is still mining with it, as I haven't received it back yet. I'm guessing he will mine on it for as long as Ebay allows him to and then return it for a refund and keep the free BTC.....

Stay away from this Ebay buyer (supposedly he has a name on the forums here... wish I knew who it was so I could give him a piece of my mind!)

We should find a quick way to make a google doc or something similar that is easily searchable at the time we need it.

You should have requested proof also, you also have the ability to hold his funds for the longest amount of time before issuing the refund.

IE after he ships it back you can hold his funds while you are making sure the unit is defective.
