This seems like legit news but the top result from this forum when you google WTC is: “[WARNING] Walton Chain (WTC) is a SCAM” (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2214505.0).

Will the mods delete or lock those threads that appear to be irrelevant at this stage?

Yep just saw it at $27. But what does it matter?

It will be $1000. Might just take a while as they have no real marketing team yet. However EVERYTHING else about this. company is amazing. Just see the creativity they expressed for their official photo where they formed a W.

This is going to explode like ETH did in 2017.

It was amazing to be part of Bitcointalk for a little while. Thankyou. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5316241.0

Its funny but scam-rumours usually help coins. Because the coins get more attention and people check them out. Thats better than if your coin is boring. I heard btw Yakuza is involved with WTC, so be CAREFUL when buying WTC!!!! /joke Tongue

WTC probably the most real company, with connections to industry leaders, political leaders of korea and china, as well as connections to universities and media. This coin has the possibility to become the biggest korean company (bigger than samsung) if they solutions will disrupt whole industries, i am just waiting for a DHL/UPS announcement, but this coin *IS* already extremely undervalued by factor *20 to *50. While ETH & else is OVERvalued.

You only get rich buying cheap as in Walton is now.

I bought Walton when it was introduced to Binance in early September, and sold in a few weeks for approximately x5. It was one of my dumbest exits from a trade Grin Lesson learned, and congratulations to all WTC holders  Cheesy

Sorry to hear. Traders always lose!

I suggest: Always keep half of everything you buy. Just made x20 on Tron, Linda, Verge, Dentacoin and so on. Always keeping some. Always re-investing in good projects and keeping some. Portfolio just keeps growing its insane...

I agree that this coin is very undervalued, even with its current market cap. When do you think it'll start to moon, if it does? I guess it's just a matter of when it starts to be known at western countries and when news like this one don't go so under the radar. On the other hand, it's already on Binance, Kucoin, Hitbtc and Etherdelta, so exposure on big exchange sites is already there. As soon as I have more funds, I'll invest on this one, but is there any other news coming that could make its value rise fast?

They also stated in the last AMA, that Bithumb listing has been secured and will happen within the next 3 months. The delay is just because of the Korean regulations, but listing on Bithumb, one of the biggest exchanges in South Korea, will give it a huge volume increase.

Another point is, that KRW deposits on Coinnest are suspended since a while and will be possible again in a few days, South Korea is nuts for WTC, so this will also give it a nice boost.

And as soon as China can invest in WTC, the party will really begin.

Besides all that, Mainnet will be released in Q1-Q2 with 3 working childchains for Korean Smart City and Smart Agriculture in China, the third chain is still a secret. We will also see a re-branding and a new website launched in February, the next weeks are going to be wild ride I guess.  Grin

Walton is IOTA from China and I am very optimistic about an Asian project like this because the Asian market is very big and there are a lot of potential investors. I think more partners will join Waltonchain in the near future.

If its a scam then the president of south korea must be involved in it too, and the chinese government. Plus all the industry leaders involved with WTC.

With a market full of scams like this one, you should look for projects that are actually working on something, and I think that's the case here. Walton is actually building something, I don't see why it would be a scam...

But it's important to warn people but then, please, give more info... Tell us why you think it could be a scam, saying that could be a scam without justifying you are not helping anyone here...
