With a lot of news around this days about some countries banning bitcoin and so on. Is it actually possible for a country to ban bitcoin or other altcoins? Or the news are just rumor from some people that want the price to deep so they can scoop enough of the coin at deep.
If you are using bitcoin in illegal way, then they can ban bitcoin especially in transaction in which affect the economy of one country. Banning bitcoin entirely in one country is possible, because government can regulate bitcoin in encasment in the bank and all money encashment agency. how government can regulate bitcoin? They can control exchanges, but not blockchaine.

No country can actually ban Bitcoin. It is a global decentralized network, so no country can stop it. However, they can make buying/selling Bitcoin with fiat money and accepting it by merchants illegal, which will make it very difficult and dangerous (you might go to jail for example) to trade crypto vs. fiat and use Bitcoin to buy stuff. This wouldn't destroy the Bitcoin network, but probobaly would have a great impact on its price as most people will probably not risk jail in order to trade and use crypto.
I totally agree with you. No one can stop the continuous booming of bitcoin but the government can actually imposed restrictions with trading that can have a negative effect on bitcoin.

certainly could and might be a country can ban trading in the field of crypto because many factors may be afraid if the country happens to be a considerable inflation of the country's economic system or their conventional currency, or the country is afraid of being a fund-raiser of crime in that country

Yes of course, some countries already banned. Maybe they just dont know and little bit afraid that crypto currency will give a negative effect to their country, like money laundry, terrorism, etc.

How can you ban something decentralized? You can prohobite it, but what is the sense, people still using it anyway. The only reason that can really influence on users is administrative responsability.
So I think it can't actually be banned by the country and we can access to it in many different ways.

It possible because the government policy will effect all of the users. Law will protect the regulation of government. If the country government dont wanna crypto held in their country they could and will banned it. Who against the rule will get punnish. Of course it will make the citizen who as user afraid. If its just a rumor the news will never from the big source or news web.but it from the blog or people statement, but a lot of users already smart and not easy to believe on rumor.

I think not. As government has no control over bitcoin and its transaction but the government can interfere by telling the banks to close all of their clients who are using bitcoin as source of funds.

I think there are also many countries that have banned crypto incidents because the country is very afraid if there is damage to the country's economy if crypto later in legalkan in the country, we can not blame the fear that will happen if kripto legalized in the country and of course the government knows exactly the development that exists in the country and it takes time to really recognize the entry of crypto.

I think that they can, for example, in our country, the deputies are already panicking because people do not work, and the money is there, taxes are not paid to the country to steal money from nowhere and here, I do not know how, but attempts will be

Bitcoin transactions are very difficult to monitor by the government, so many people use it for many illegal activities, so the country banned bitcoin transactions for a reason.

That has being one of the major claims by Government. But I don't think it is just that. Fear of their Fiat currency becoming useless is one of the major reason to me.

How can I forbid breathing? This is the same, I read here in the branch that they can prohibit transactions, I have a question, how? how can I prohibit making a translation? how will it be tracked by the state? it seems to me that this is only a rumor, to forbid all are ready, but neznaya how it works, there is no point in saying something

Yes because the government can control everything. They can ban exchange transactions of bitcoin because they think that it will affect the currency of their own country.

Our state will not be able to prohibit transactions, as well as trade on the sites by bitcoin and other altcoys, this is a decentralized network to prohibit a little one decree or order, it is necessary to prove that for example I am a citizen selling bitcoins, how can I prove it? only if you catch a hand, or calculate the IP of the computer, you can buy it so that you will be listed from another country, in general, for the time being, all the rumors

Hard for general people, but possible and easy for government with big human and technical resources

If a country's government prohibits the use of Bitcoin and banning it on their country it will be illegal to join any bitcoin related activities but somehow, in the Philippines the Bangko Sentral are also helping the crypto users here by regulating bitcoin by the use of coins.ph.

Yes there are country that banned bitcoin like for example of Morocco. One of the reason they ban it is because it is being used in eligal activities such as illegal drugs and even terrorism. But those are just excuse for the government specially if the government is a corrupt country.

A country can ban bitcoin but they can't stop bitcoin. China banned bitcoin but china is one of the leading countries on bitcoin today. When a county ban bitcoin they will seek for alternative way to trade or buy bitcoin.

They can ban like banning torrent but still people using torrent . They can make using bitcoin illegal but they cant control over internet still VPN and lots of other source exists . So it is highly impossible to control bitcoin until internet exists.
