you don't put the recommended 0.0005 BTC per KB in the transaction you will have to wait a long time

well, if the transaction is not accepted by the miners (which is rare) the transaction return to you at 24 hrs

If accepted, 3-5 hours I think. Next time put the transaction fee and would take minutes to do a confirmation.

Coins are new hence transaction is low priority, you should have paid some tx fees.
