I heard about the following and would love to hear other people's thoughts

   1. Banking
      a. Access to people who don't have financial services
      b. Transaction (Fee/Speed)
   2. Cybersecurity
      a. Decentralized consensus - almost impossible to be tampered with
   3. Supply Management
      a. Transactions monitored in real time - Transparent  (Reduce time delay and effort)
      b. Fair price of things by tracking them from their origin
   4. Forecasting (& Gambling)
      a. Betting on something in a global level
   5. Networking and IOT
      a. Instead of using centralized location
      b. Track the billions and billions of devices on IOT
   6. Insurance
      a. Able to get record of patient's history anywhere, anytime
   7. Ride sharing and other crowd economy
      a. Automatically pay parking, tolls and fuel
   8. Online data storage
      a. Data on blockchain -
      b. Also save space
   9. Charity
      a. Inefficiency and corruption
   10. Voting
   11. Government
      a. Instead of trying to align everyone over and over, set the conditions in the beginning and once the conditions are met the project starts
   12. Public sector -
      a. Assess, verify and distribute benefits securely
   13. Health care
      a. Secure platform to secure and store data
   14. Energy management
      a. Allows buy and sell energy from each other
   15. Music
      a. Directly from fan to artist
   16. Retail
      a. Buy directly with out middle man
   17. Real Estate
      a. Transparency in price and land ownership
   18. Crowd funding

Those points are good ones. I have a feeling that we would not be able to predict what will happen. One example, when Viber optic was discovered, people said that copper will be useless, in reality copper became more useful and expensive.

Yea its impossible to predict the future and we have no way of knowing what the world will look like in 2040 and if bitcoin will still be around at that time.
