Scam Advisory:  I'm not involved in any projects listed below.  I have no knowledge of the legitimacy of any of the projects listed below.  In order to claim Bitcoin forks, you usually have to enter your Bitcoin private key into a new wallet or App.  This is a very dangerous thing to do.  Some of these "forks" listed below may be scams designed to steal your private key, and some 3rd party wallets claiming to support these forks may be scams designed to steal your private key, therefore it is advisable to move your Coins to a new wallet/address before attempting to claim any fork.  If a scammer has your private key, they have full access to your Bitcoin wallet and can steal any Bitcoins left in that wallet, and any associated assets, such as Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, etc.  This list is just for reference.  Do your own due diligence, use at your own risk, and do not trust any claims made by these websites without verifying.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Having fork is useless when there are very few support from community and other enterprise or corporate partnership. Just like the upcoming ETH ZERO in my opinion it will not last long, it can be manipulated by pump and dumpers but little user support.

BITCOIN “FORKS” do you own due diligence. I have a list of approx 40. I have researched all of them and find around 20% seem to have a serious attempt of a web page, secure site github support real team of developers. The rest seem to be a copy and past of Gold and Cash to various degrees. Wiki has sanitised their site for some reason, which provided a good first source. Be vary cautious as most will try to scam your private keys and extract any BTC, BTG BCH BTX etc... later on.

I updated the OP with the new info added.  I'm going to work on reformatting the OP so that is clearer and easier to read.  Post more forks I missed, and I'll add them.

I updated today, added some new ones, deleted some that were not actually fork ... more like airdrops ... and I also added the obligatory warning about the dangers of exposing your private keys.

What the actual flock, there's way too many forks for bitcoin. But the question is will they get listed on exchanges? Well if it gets listed then i'll exchange some to eth haha

What is unbelievable is that lots of these forks have people eagerly trading them and their value is greater than ZERO.

It just goes to show how mad cryptocurrency is at the moment.

the last time i join hardfork is bad experience for me
since today, ignis is not in my wallet to recover of my loss from NXT
so, if any hardfork incoming.. i always look it more carefully
btw too much actually
i just want to join into them with sell pending order to prevent loss if community said that it's ok to join

FWIW, my plan with these forks is to check them in about 1 year ... if they are still around, have a proven track record, are actively traded, and have a community vetted open source wallet, then I will claim them.  I expect that 80-90% won’t pass that test.

I get that some people want to claim them as soon as possible, and flip them to BTC before they die, but that is dangerous.  Plus, the fees of having to move BTC for every fork will add up.
