Author Topic: Computer just freezes after 30 or so minutes  (Read 549 times)

No idea why this is happening.  Ran for a few months with no problems with 3 7950s.

Thought pci risers needed molex, added them.  Replaced mobo.  Have a 850w psu so tried only running two gpus, still freezing. Weird that it used to run fine and will run great for 30 mins then stop.  Temps are fine, below 70c.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Are you getting a blue screen? If so it could be a ram issue, try replacing the ram or use one stick of ram at a time to see if one is faulty if you are using more tha one stick.

Thank you for the suggestion.  Actually found it to run for a couple days now if I unplug this one specific graphics card (seems to hash but then stop as fans shut off? fans still spin though...) however machine still shut off after a few days even with the one bad gpu off :/

even now with just the two cards its still going after 30 min, wtf...
