Bitcoin’s profitability dwarfed by cryptocurrency rivals Ripple, Ethereum
I think in the other way that those coins you mentioned as rivals may get the benefit of price increase from the recent issue with the bitcoin transaction. But still bitcoin is at it's best and the price is constant around $14k.
But ethereum price keeps goins as expected and it will make a huge price bump like what happened with the bitcoin in 2017.
Ripple race is already over the price is going in the downward direction so it is better to choose other coin for investment other than ripple because it is decentralized and can be controlled by someone .

Indeed, Ripple is more profitable, but there is no denying that with the popularity of the ICO market, the demand for ETH is greater, so I am more optimistic about ETH.

Yes, bitcoin is hovering around 13-14k for very long time. Things are not as bright as it was predicted.  Cry

Bitcoin’s profitability dwarfed by cryptocurrency rivals Ripple, Ethereum
Why do you think like that, bitcoin made huge price bump since lat year at it now more number of investors that's why the bitcoin is still the expensive crypto. But now the price correction occuring on bitcoin which is healty for it and it allows new investors to come in.
Ripple is just a hype coin and it is not a good option to invest there are many altcoins available to invest than ripple for example NEM have grat future and price also will bump soon. The price of ethereum is bumping because of ethereum hardfork will happening on january 19 so people might want free coins so they are investing more on ethereum than bitcoins.

bitcoin has shown several times that its still king,

as long as exchanges still use BTC as the main pair i dont see that changing anytime soon.

i hope to see ripple dead in the ground personally. and ETH to break away from bitcoins when it fluctuates.
