In the past week the Safex development company Balkaneum has launched the Safex blockchain testnet.

so what is this airdrop?
in about 30 days safex will migrate from the current btc blockchain onto the new Safex blockchain
you will have to send your safex tokens from the btc blockchain to the new safex wallet on the safex blockchain, that will convirt your tokens
and that will also airdrop safex cash into your wallet.
So your safex tokens will convirt 1:1, + you will get airdropped 0.0023 safex cash for every safex token you own.(230 safex cash per 100.000 safex tokens)

But why are there not more exchanges?? as long as Safex is on the btc blockchain paying an exchange to add Safex would be throwing money away.

SAFEX is a good altcoin that I have researched from before. I have also invested in SAFEX and still keep it up till now. I am delighted that the SAFEX management team has consistently implemented the plan and roadmap set out to lead SAFEX to this day. I hope that this year SAFEX will have a great development to be in the top coin with the largest trading volume on the market cryptocurrency.

I hope so! I bought this on Bittrex and soon after it was delisted. It has almost no volume on Cryptopia. The wallet is very good and so is the website. I think the developers need to work on marketing because it looks like a good product.

I prefer Syscoin over Safex, at least they have real product and not whitepaper. Syscoin will release blockmarket in the first quarter of 2018 and the project is still undervalued and better than Safex

It is one of the good projects I can see it but I do not think safex is the new big thing or any other coin is the new big thing. There are two big things in the market: bitcoin and ethereum.

The Github activity is very low and SAFEX has been delisted from Cryptopia last month because the devs didn't upgrade their wallet with a  omni upgrade fast enough. This is not really a good sign imho.

I bought SAFEX a while back at Cryptopia, planning to never look back again and hodl. I now realized that checking up on your coins is essential, as Cryptopia has suspended trading and put a 1500SAFEX withdrawal fee on the coin. I like Cryptopia but this is steep (around 100usd at some point last week to transfer SAFEX out of Cryptopia). Hoping to be able to keep my SAFEX at Cryptopia and hoping to see SAFEX roar......

there was a problem with all omni wallets , and cryptopia (maybe) delisting safex because of people sending them a lot of hatred about having the safex walllet in maintenance.
they are still thinking about a final review before delisting safex.
also if you would just see the weekly dev updates you will see that they are very active.
