Hi everyone,

Fuund is a project that is working on developing user friendly, safe and only-authorized browser mining scripts. The main idea behind this project is to allow people create revenue on browser mining only with user authorization.

As you might now, almost all faucets and micro earning games (even some video sharing platforms) use a browser mining on their website today. However, because they have been doing that "secretly", most antivirus, anti-mining and anti-malware programs started to ban these script providers. If you have a running software like ESET or MinerBlock, you have probably experienced a warning when you try to reach some of these sites in the last few weeks.

Fuund's mining scipt is undetectable by any of these antivirus programs and we intend to keep it that way by allowing only authorized browser mining. You can visit http://www.fuund.me/projects/1 and try it out yourself.

www.fuund.me was designed as a fundraising/donation platform. However, we are still open for ideas and use case scenarios. Unfortunately, most inquiries we have received so far was about mining in an old fashion, unauthorized way. I suppose our undetectable script attracts a lot of people, but we do not want to use it in that way. If you have any ideas, thoughts or even some small tips, you are more than welcome to share them here.

Please be aware that Fuund website is still on beta phase and not ready to use. We will soon be able to provide service for some early users. If you are interested, send me a PM with your website info. You will receive API and other related information once accepted.

Your website advertises $.01 per user who stays on the tab for 6 hours???

I run a mining site. So I know the payouts aren't huge. But seriously?
That's insanely low... :/

That's correct. It is lower than what you can make via services like Coinhive and Coinimp. This is simply because fuund never uses full CPU power and that's what makes it user friendly. It is calculated in a way that a user can keep a tab open and still use their computer for other things (of course not gaming). Neverthless, $.01 is not insanely low compared to others. As a mining site owner, you must be aware of the numbers such as approximate mining power of a consumer laptop, user friendly script with less cpu use, platform fee, pool fee and variable price of Monero.

So let me give some details which can help other users as well;

I take it you are the owner of satoshistream.com

I see that you are using webminepool service. Let's see what webminepool offers their users:

As you can see, their calculation is not specific enough and very easy to manipulate. Mining with 100 user with approx 20h for 12 hours and mining with 50 user with approx 15h will make a huge difference for a website income. Also, I can't imagine many sites that can keep their visitors for 12 hours a day online. Especially if they know there is an actual mining.

Fuund mining calculation (it is just an example) is showing some numbers on specific scenerios with lower hash powers.

It is also easy to calculate for individual cases. Please visit below site for that.

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/xmr?HashingPower=17&HashingUnit=H%2Fs&PowerConsumption=0&CostPerkWh=0.12&MiningPoolFee=1

It is an interesting project indeed. I wonder how you manage to create a browser mining script that is not detectable by ESET and others.

Regarding use cases; I am not sure if you can really attract as much people as you could if this was one of the regular browser mining services. I have a faucet but I am not sure if authorized mining can be useful for me at all. It can be useful by actual mining sites like coinpot or freebitco.

Keeping the script undetectable is more important and probably more difficult task than actually creating it. We believe that the only way to do that is providing only authorized browser mining. Users have to be fully informed and asked for permission where our script is used. It is true that this strategy narrows our use cases, but we work on some other plans.

Thank you. Your idea about torrent sites is very interesting. Most good torrent platforms have only-premium membership policy which can be converted into "mining while browsing" service. This could be a win-win situation for the market.
