Do you have any recommendations for Beginners to gather more information and learn about cryptocurrencies?

- Books?
- Influencer? (twitter, youtube, etc.)
- Online courses?
- Mastermind groups?
- Groups on telegram / discord?
- Exchanges?
- Websites?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hey Okelidokeli,

I tend to recommend following technical members in the community. A better understanding of the overall technology often leads to a more reliable understanding of price projections and whether or not a cryptocurrency has merit. For this reason, I  actually find that a lot of Medium blogs to be helpful. Preethi Kasireddy, Noam Levenson, and Linda Xie are three bloggers that I swear by. Most of them actually work for companies like Coinbase and contribute code to different blockchain projects. For actual news sites and time-sensitive content, I'd suggest The Merkle and Coin Telegraph. Additionally, if you'd really like to dive into the inner workings of blockchains, mining, smart contracts, and more check out a youtube creator named Siraj Raval. His videos are amazing and very educational! I hope this helps, and here are some sources:
