I think its almost impossible to calculate ROI because prices are always moving. Some coins are so new that they are not on exchange.
You can look at https://masternodes.pro/ it can give a good idea.
Community and transparency from dev are the key for those coins !

They attracts my attention 2 weeks ago and I joined their Discord. A few day after I was banned by developer for the questions about economy of Onex coin - simple questions how the Onex team plan to absorb the emissions of Onex coin.
No answers - just banned in their server.
