I posted this in a different forum, but got no reply.

Newbie. Sorry. Be gentle.   Smiley

I have a fair bit of Dogecoin that I have forgotten about in an account. There is a faucet that is sending it to an wallet address, but I don't remember which company that address is from.

Any chance a kind soul here could provide a little help so I can locate this? Is there a way to track it? If so, I would love to learn.

Thanks in advance.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

So there are three different scenarios.
1. You remember your private key - then you can just import your private key in different wallet and viola.
2. You remember your private key but forgot encryption key - You can try brute forcing you encryption key if you remember some parts of it. There are softwares up there (But I haven't tried them).
3. You lost both - Then there are lost in the sea good luck finding them

If you kept your private key then you have 100% chances of recovering your wallet as the only way to access your bitcoin is via your key, if you haven't you will need to attach to the wallet account regulations to see whether or not you can retrieve your credentials, you may have printed a paper wallet also which is very common

Why did you choose not to post the wallet address so we could help you?
