What's the reason for the hard fork? Is it to add new features to siacoin?

I been following Storj more than Siacoin. Storj is doing better in this space with new partnerships but to be honest, I haven't looked into Sia in quite a while (Beside the price).

Siacoin (SC) is going to rise higher in the coming months. That is for sure. And this fork will definitely make Siacoin transaction smoother and more reliable. Cloud storage has been here for a while but Sia has made everything much much better and made you the most powerful person in terms of your own stored data. The coin burn will add more value definitely to the coin as the supply shall be lessened significantly.

If the rumor is true then it is possible that Sia Coin will pump again for another wave but we also need to analyze it because it is already pumped for the past weeks. if bitcoin price is stable or slowly climb, i believe Sia Coin can maintain its current price.

Siacoin is one of the coins of the promising, but obviously they have shown a significant improvement for a longtime. There is a silence in the Siacoin dev team. I hope that they will start to    make themselves heard by taking more innovative and progressive steps.
