His name comes from joined names of Japanese corporations who created him, Samsung-Toshiba-Nakamichi-Motorola.

This man speaks heresy. Samsung is a multinational corporation based in South Korea, not Japan.

Yup, that rumor is getting propogated, this time by Eric Johnson in his presentation that included Bitcoin:
  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TexNr_5J5AU#t=1031s

Also, Motorola is a multinational corporation based in the United States.

Quote from: Wikipedia
Paul Galvin purchased the patents to the automotive radio and acquired the rights to the trade name Motorola ("motor" and "Victrola") from William Lear. The name Motorola was adopted in 1930, and the word has been used as a trademark since the 1930s.

Well at least some people have actually seen that presentation. Smiley

I guess I got suckered, I will be sure to correct it for the next presentation. That one was done on very short notice. You can read the thread which lead to that presentation here:
http://forum.agora.io/discussion/5/using-technology-to-advance-liberty/

We have much more ambitious plans for the next Agorist Unconference in September where we are hoping to fill and entire channel with presentations under the general category of "Tools for the Counter Evolution". The preliminary outline can be found here:
http://forum.agora.io/discussion/12/laozi-tools-for-the-counter-evolution-channel/#Item_3

I would appreciate any help in fact checking or for that matter anyone more qualified than me to do a presentation on Bitcoin or any of the other subjects being addressed.

Regards,
Eric

Actually, Satoshi is a robot sent from the future to stop the largest currency crisis in the history of mankind, and the nuclear war that followed the political chaos caused by it.

His name comes from joined names of Japanese corporations who created him, Samsung-Toshiba-Nakamichi-Motorola.
in 2075, these corporations formed a single huge megacorporation, in joined effort to perfect time travel technology.

After they successfully conducted first tests of Future-Vision Hyperdimensional Matrix™ in 2075, and got a glimpse 9 years into the future (2085), they saw the earth being destroyed by a nuclear disaster which was result of war caused by terrible worldwide economical crisis. They were devastated by the things they saw, and they completely commited all of their funds to developing time travel technology & building an intelligent robot which they can send into the past. That was necessary because a glitch in the Time Vortex Plasma-Based Bipulsary Manipulator™ caused any organic matter to be damaged when travelling through the vortex.

They created first working prototype of S.A.T.O.S.H.I. in 2083. Fortunately for us, in January 2084 a stable backward-aligned temporal vortex was created and Satoshi was successfully transported to set coordinates in the past.

And here we go, creating a better future for the mankind.

wow how did i not see this post before!~ even more proof !!!  Cool

No Satoshi was murdered in 2015.

Very strong circumstantial evidence that John Nash was Satoshi Nakamoto!

It's been described that SATOSHI is an AI that's been developed by a joint venture of a group of companies. Personally I believe that Satoshi is alive and just because of the satisfied mind he hides himself not revealing the identity to the outer world.

I think he is no more.If he had been alive,he will not be simply watching all the happenings around bitcoin. He would have brought some solutions to the existing problems. Its all just my assumption.

Well I believe he's still alive but it's all part of his grand strategy to hide his identity. These guys are only creating circumstances that would lure him to reveal himself and I think he's done a pretty good job at still hiding and not heeding to the call to reveal himself.

He's still alive but probably not in these forum anymore. He already left the bitcoin world I think and he is already working in a different world. He already said in one of his interviews that the people who use bitcoin are geeks and should get a life. And he is still alive in our wallet.

Alive or not it does not matter anymore now. Also if we were in his shoes, we would do exactly the same and hide ourself. Sadly you can't imagine the number of people who are you looking for him, and believe me it's not to say him thank you for creating a disruptive currency

Guys, I think Satoshi left us. Last active: December 13.
He'll remain alive in my wallet

It amazes me when I see people who so much believed in  satoshi and the system a long time ago. Apparently, satoshi remains alive forever. Bitcoin is already a legacy for satoshi and that name will ring bell for life either satoshi himself is dead or not.

Most likely not. As distant Concerning illustration we know, Satoshi Nakamoto is An invented designer and the worth of effort credited on him might have been really done by an group of developers. With all fake assumption i can`t say if he is dead. We essentially don't have sufficient information to answer this theory.

For all we know, Satoshi could be some big time corporation, a secret organisation, a person or even an idea itself.
Is he or it alive? Likely yes, because Bitcoin and everything after Bitcoin is still running smoothly and succesfully.
Who Satoshi is, is not that important any more. On the contrary, what he has accomplished with Bitcoin is revolutionary.

If anybody claim that he is satoshi nakamoto then its lie.

I don't think that he is real at all...that this is a legend that the titans of the economy created, so that people believe in it...
