In my own opinion, there is only two coin that is worth investing and that is bitcoin and ethereum coin but since you want to know what is the best coin beside ethereum then you should invest to bitcoins since the value is rapidly increasing every time there's a hype in the market like what happen last december 2017.

for me besides ETH  the coin i lke is the bitcoin, i like because it have an expensive price and it is good to invest and  support by all banks,  Bitcoin have a good performance i think.  in this year the ethereum have a great opportunity.
in my opinion Much coin that has a good level of popularity that makes me not worry to invest I think that they are some of the promising around the market.

I think no altcoin is better than ethereum. But after of it, in my opinion, IOTA and Waves have really good potentials for the future. Also I think, although it have a really low price, stellar is a really promising coin.

I like NEO because it have potential of being Ethereum's successor too. I think that NEO will cost more than $1000 in 2018. I'm ready to wait.

besides eth currently i have a collection of fdx coins, bkx and h20 the coins have a good price, but nowadays coin prices have decreased drastically i will hold the coins till the highest price.

I also like you, now besides ethereum I also have other tokens like bankex, next, even anacoin,
