Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

You have to be a bit more specific, for us to help you. In most cases Bitcoin users wants to go into too much detail and they find it too complex and then they bow out. You should know the basics first. 1. How to buy or Sell bitcoins. 2. Where to secure those coins that you have bought.

The technical information is overkill for average users that just want to buy stuff with bitcoins or who wants to trade with bitcoins.

I'm also new, but as I understand it, you should work really hard to understand the full complexity of cryptocurrencies. You should read lots of material, this forum can provide you with tonns of info. Good luck!

Mate, as i read the post of others in this forum, I see a bright with my clouded mind. And with the help of google and people who are willing to answer to my questions, i tend to understand little by little on how btc works and use. Nothing is possible when you do a research about it, understand it, and will give you an idea later on just like others, to invest.

I am also just in the process to learn and understand cryptocurrencies more. For me it was very confusing at the start and it still is, but keep your head up and read
a lot, take all your free time to do it, if you want to earn good money its time good invested.

Also look at videos from influencers, follow influencers on Twitter or Youtube (or both). I am sure if the will is there you will succeed.

Bitcoin is not easy to understand specially how it works and what is the contribution of it to our economy. In fact, if we based it in technical terms it will make us more difficult. I believe that reading its terms and usage will help us newbies to become aware of it.

in fact all the things we want to do it have a certain stage stages.
such as, the introduction, learning, how to use, and how the results or effects are generated.
as well as bitcoin. First check carefully, if you already know what is bitcoin, learn how to get it by asking the experts. then do it yourself until you really understand it.
then, if you've got it, use it wisely.
then, share knowledge with the needy.
because sharing is beautiful.

The best answer may be that Bitcoin is still a new thing, and lots of people in the Bitcoin space are working on lowering the barrier to entry.

If you don't have a lot of time to study thousands pages of forums and watching hundreds  hours of videos - talk with friends who knows more than you about it Smiley The process of discussing gives answers to lot of questions!

. You will have to specify what you find hard about Bitcoin. I mean it's very broad. Just take it step by step. Don't try to understand everything about Bitcoin. Take it slow. It can be overwhelming.

The easiest way to buy/sell is with Coinbase if it is available in your country. Most people start with this company b/c the GUI is easy to navigate. I think most will move on to other exchanges, especially to trade the 'alt' cryptos.

For understanding the blockchain technology, check out a podcast named 'unchained' by Laura Shin who is a writer for Forbes. She has done several Crypto 101 podcasts that are easy to listen to and she does a good job explaining to non technical people.
