For my own opinion so far it is not a good year for bitcoin or for crypto currency in partticular. Because I already saw lot of dumps and fake pumps.

We will just wait what would happen for the second half of the year. Hopefully market got recover now.

It is normal for bitcoin to have a crucial year now 2018 because the 2017 is just a full of aggressive bulls and a panic buying year so this is the year for bitcoin to have a correction and that is why a lot of people are expecting for bitcoin to lower a bit more in the incoming weeks but for me, even though it happen, i will still hold since there is no other way for bitcoin but to go up in terms of long term movement.

I think so too. The last quarter of the year has attracted many people to recognize bitcoin to invest on it and this year, it would be the year wherein people must decide if they are in it for the long term or they just invested for the short term profits. This year, we would see the people and then the institutions too if they decide to get involved with cryptocurrencies as one of the assets that they would make as a hedge as the financial markets is currently in a turmoil and we can see that there is an economic uncertainty.

2018 is very important because until now we only had a bear market. If it keeps going down many people will loose interest in bitcoin and in the cryptocurrencies market/possibilities, so it's gonna be going back in time, we just waste year(s) of possible adoption and increase of value.

2018 is really the most crucial year for bitcoin if you ask me. We have seen the most dump which have lead many to be running scared with their heels over their head. We are also expecting a turn around and let it be also the most successful recovery of bitcoin. from almost 700 billion market cap to 200 billion i really crazy dump. It already happened. Bitcoin went down from more than 14K to less than 6K. It was a crucial move for BTC in this year. It's up to your point of view how do you measure it in good or bad way. Well I don't think Bitcoin need to go up high again, it would be better if Bitcoin stay low. It needs to be more stable, not more expensive.
