"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

There are many Bitcoin services so I wonder How can I know which Bitcoin services to trust?  Undecided

- common sense ( too good to be true? Most probably scam )
- check if there is users feedback on this forum ( put in google: "SERVICE_NAME site:bitcointalk.org" ... this wil search only through bitcointalk )
- no topic about the service? Create your own and ask for others opinions
- check badbitcoin.org
