Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

There's an abundance of Bitcoin and other cryptocurerrency exchanges. I don't know what you want to trade for (other crypto currencies? fiat?) so cannot really recommend any exchange. Check out coinmarketcap.com's markets section and do your research on each exchange, not all of them are reputable.

You can trade your bitcoin in bittrex.com also in poloniex and coinsmarkets.com but trading is risky because the token value is volatile as well but all you need to do is to be patient and wait until the value of token increases before you will sell it in order to earn big.

If you are only looking to trade between Bitcoin and Fiat, you can do it right from your wallet... It's the easiest way to trade, but sometimes exchange rates are ridiculous.

You can trade bitcoin with altcoins. If you are a beginner I can suggest few good trading sites. Bittrex, Poloniex, Binance are good sites for beginners. I hope it helps.

There are bunch of Exchange sites and each of them differ especially in transaction fees, coins volume, and crypto's value.
Try using Poloniex, Bittrex and Binance these are one of the most popular exchanges so give it a try.

So many negative reviews on Poloniex. Binance is good, Bittrex probably too. Also, Kucoin is growing fast nowadays.

it depends on your current location Poloniex , bittrex are first choice for many traders but long process to verify new accounts is very sad USA drama , that is why Binance.com is the best choice right now, i advice to go through 2 BTC limit for every account a day and it is too hot with 5 M+ traders.
