It may be  India Government thinks about that if Jio Coin has become legal in India, then Bitcoin will not be late in getting legal in India.
This will solve the problem of bitcoin holder in India.

I do not think that Indian government will ever declare it legal but they can continue with the current situation where it is nether legal nor illegal. If Jio coin comes into existence, it will result in mass adoption of crypto in India for sure. I am sure that they will have the option to buy and sell Jio coin offline as well. You can also expect free coins, the same concept as used in Jio.

Since current party has good relations with the Reliance,  we may expect them to favor Jio Coin. But as far as making Bitcoins legal is concerned, this will not happen as it can result in lot of scams. There had been huge number of online scams in India in the past as people easily fall prey to these scams. Also RBI has advised against Bitcoin investment.

Today or tomorrow it is going to be traded in India as well. Jio Coin just pushed it on the right side as Ambanis are influential. Crypto is the future. Slowly more and more cryptos getting on Indian market now.

It is a good speculation, am thinking in the same way.

What RBI says is totally irrelevant because Reliance has always been a very strong lobby for any indian government - so if they launch their coin, they will make it legal.

We have to wait for the exact details about the coin and even if it becomes legal, that does not mean bitcoin or other cryptos will be taken in with the same status.

i think it is not possible because bitcoin will be not paying tax for India government. so India government have not declared bitcoin as legal. jio coin will launch means bitcoin is get more famous in India tats it. how it make bitcoin as legal it is impossible.

All we need is the community to help grow bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in India.

It is fairly possible that when Jio coins if government approves it they would ban all other cypto currencies and only accepts which gets the govt approval. So in such cases govt will have the control of such coins and they will keep a track or something like it which will ensure that it is not misused it.
