So i saw people post on facebook to buy ETH when it was $0.25
Surely a good choice....
But now it is $1200...... All ETH does is release shady ICOs and some dumb cat dApp. Is this the future of virtual currency or a scam? To make those rich who bought it for $0.25?
We bitcointalk friends should be more smart and AVOID eth to buy whats cheap NOW.

Why so bitter men? How about Bitcoin? or any other altcoins in the market that have grown their prices? If you do think and mention it generally then all coins are scam  . Eth isnt a scam it did just growth bigtime after all these years and its normal for those early adopters or purchasers to be rich as of now considering and seeing the recent price of ETH. Just like any other coins in the market such growth can possibly be attained but depending on how good the project is. |

Ethereum is not a scam. In fact, ethereum is the second strongest in all crypto currency. It is one of the growing type of altcoin wherein people choose to buy than other currency. I don't believe that ETH is a scam because as of now, ETH has a good team as well as their projects, and it is good for investment.

No the ethereum blockchain is not a scam, but the people who wants to launch a scam ICO usually use the ethereum blockchain. But there are lots of project on the ethereum network, most of them are not scam, there are lots of legit project too like Civic, Salt, Santiment...etc. You need to do your research before calling it a scam and stop trying to spread fud against ETH please.

Why makes it a scam in your opinon OP? Because it had lower price and now it has higher? EVERY cryptocurrency costed pennies in their beginning! I don't think they are scam. To my opinion ETH was UNDERVALUED when it costed 0.25$, and slowly rised in value proportionally with number of users who decided to buy it. |

Never, you're wrong  Are you sure? Because there is so many people who bought ETH for $0.25. For $2 For $10 So if I buy it now at $1500 arent I dumb? Before I can ever make a profit all those people who bought it cheap will cash it out no? i dont know if your slow or just a fool only.all coins started in lower value and depend on the project development if they can attract investors so the price of the said token will increase continuously.whats your problem when it was only.2$ wayback,no one forces you to buy,bitcoin started at few bucks at first and now it was more than x1000 of ethereums price..so bitcoin is scam too? |

Ofcourse not, i think you have to study and read more about crypto currency, Eth is used in every ico and its one of the fastest growing crypto currency because many people use it now. Read more and do your research so that you can understand more about ETH.
Yeah right. Ethereum is not a scam nor a joke. Ethereum is the next rank after Bitcoin (the mother of crypto currency). Ethereum is very useful in this crypto currency world and have been used by most user, business,investors,traders and even ICO projects. If this is a scam then how come it reaches up to this time? Scam project will not last long... |

This is simply how the market works, back When it was 25 cents there was no demand. Now that people started to see What beautiful innovation blockchain is the demand Gets larger and larger it grows faster then supply and then price increases

Its not a scam. Eth is the next big thing in crypto currency. Yeah i think all alt coin starts with low value sooner or later it will go up and sometimes go down. Thats how crypto currency works.

Those who bought ethereum when it was 0.25$ were so lucky. Now eth continues to grow and grow almost every month. I think eth is not a scam but they just hit the market. Their target become bigger and bigger. The project continues to succeed rapidly. Eth was not a scam.

ETH is not a scam, people are using ETH for trading and almost all ICO uses ETH for payment . BTC starts with the just a cents but now it reaches more than a thousand dollar . ETH is the top 2 coin on crypto currency and the price will continuously go high. |

I strongly believe its not a scam. ETH has created a platform, and its not ETH-s fault what is being released on its platform, or what kind of dapps are being developed. Its essential to see why eth has become more than other coins, like BTC, and its the platform that it created. The next step would be to move for Proof of Stake to be able to better support dapps using the ETH network. If this happens, I believe we can expect a jump in the price of ETH, as is increases the value of it. So all in all, I would say ETH is not a scam. Just because it had a huge value increase in the past, it does not mean its not worth buying it. Also, I recommend doing further research on ETH as you might not understand what they created. |

No way ETH is a scam. It is only the coins that have use and good platform. Without ETH I think the crypto will never go big as of today's market. Try to read the Ethereum 101 and you will discover that it is better than BTC.
For all those coins that have been with us since the beginning of crypto world and were a reason of bestowing many people with big profits, it would be unfair to declare them a scam. Like bitcoin, Ethereum also comes in top crypto currencies. If these were a fraud, it would be not possible for investors to increase capital from them. These are the future of money and the best way of making living in the present era. |
