Which GPU should i pick? 1070 or 1070 ti?

I can choose one of them,
1) MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB AERO
2) GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 AORUS 8 GB
3) PNY GeForce GTX 1070 8GB

They are all in the same range price, which one has the best performance in mining?
What do you suggest?

The 1070 ti should be your best bet. Specific prices would help out a lot though. What sort of price difference are we talking about here? If they're ~$50US apart they should be fine. If the GPUs themselves are already high over MSRP then things get unclear. We NEED a solid price here to determine if these are profitable at all.

Do you think i should still go for 1070 ti?

The thigs that sound "strange" to me is the fact that this 1070 ti has lower prices than the others on the market. Do you know if there are some known problem with that? or if it requires some particolar hardware behind?

I noticed that the newly released 1070 Ti was slower to raise in MSRP than that of the previously released 10 series. The EVGA 1070 Ti Hybrid was listed for $499 on Newegg for the longest time while the EVGA 1070 Hybrid was listed for for more.  Dealer pricing has more to do with dealer cost and supply rather than hashing power.

Ignoring cost and when only concerned with value/utility:
1070 PNY lowest value/utility
1070 Ti  highest value/utility

The 1070 Ti should do better than the 1070s in most algorithms and it's the better deal if your retailer actually ships the GPU. Most 1070tis are OOS in the US and even at that price they'd be gobbled up real quick. There's no big issues with the 1070ti mining AFAIK, and even if there were any you should be able to return the GPU without much issue.

The TI uses a little more power so if that's a concern in your rig, go for the gigabyte. If not? You'll make it up easily in hashrate, sso my vote is for the ti as well.

Thank you guys, i'll pick the Ti tomorrow, i hope that this will be still available. Do you know a good mobo under 100€ that i can use? I had find Asrock H81 Pro BTC R2.0 but unfortunately it is now sold out everywhere

I'd rather get 1080 instead. Right now it's only about $20-ish more than 1070Ti, but has the same TDP as 1070Ti, and gives significant more hashrate (okay, probably not for memory-intensive algos like ETH...)

Availability is a big factor too and in many places the 1080 is OOS or priced ridiculously higher than the 1070ti/1070. Mining right now is really just what you can get at a price as close to MSRP as possible.

Yes, i've find only cards 1080 that costs 100-150€ more than the one i find.  Unfortunately this is too expensive for my estimated budget. :/

I just ordered two MSI 1080 Gaming X for $569 each from B&H few days ago. No tax and even it has an ongoing mail rebate $10 for each, so essentially it's $559 each, which is only $10 more than NVIDIA's FE MSRP.
It looks like the availability of 1080 is about the same as 1070/1070Ti nowadays, just setup email notifications and account/billing/shipping info ready, it shouldn't be too hard to get one actually.

For a single card? Pretty much any modern mobo will work. If you want to future proof, get one with 6-8 pcie slots minimum.

For my builds I went cheap: a GIGABYTE GA-H110-D3A and a BIOSTAR TB250-BTC+, both with cheap Celeron CPUs and single 4gb sticks of RAM. Does the damage just fine, at least using Ethos. Boot times are a little slow but once everything starts chugging away you can't tell the difference and the power consumption is good and low...

Reviews I've read say the 1070ti rivals the 1080 with less power draw. I guess maybe the 1080ti is probably the top consumer priced card?

I have to find an alternative :/ On Ebay there are some Asrock H81 PRO BTC that comes from China at a very ridicolous price 45€, But it's probably not safe to order from there (Becouse of time, orders from china always keep 30-45days to come here)

I may have just gotten lucky when I bought them. Like my 1060s, I totally thought I overpaid at $299 each, but now they're like $400+. The prices DO fluctuate, but if you need something now, your other option would be to just get anything cheap that fits the number of cards you currently have, then order the cheap option for the long haul (I originally started using an old Gigabyte 1156 board with 4 pcie slots that I had lying around)...

Compare the video cards.  I was suprised to find that people are making more with 1070 over 1070 TI I just bought (my first rig).  Also 1080 has better ROI.  Blown away by what the 1080 TI can bring in.. about the same amount of time for ROI as the 1070TI but you then have a card that brings in over $8 per day instead of $5.50 per day.

If that is the "blower style" MSI 1070 ti card, they WILL outperform any 1070 model on pretty much everything but Ethereum/clones - but it runs VERY hot based on the one I have.

Tolerable if you are mining for "efficiency" at a TDP of under 110 watts or so, but you need a COLD room or a high tolerance for "card runs VERY hot" much past that point - even with 90% fan.
