There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hello,

I'm making a trading plataform on my country, the website internal trading code is almost done, but i need now to start the coding of creating wallets and sending and receiving external transactions, i was trying to get a Blockchain API, but i'm already waiting for weeks, i was looking Coinbase but it seems to be very restrict, what API you guys think i can use?

Thanks.

Host your own copy of bitcoind and connect via JSON RPC.
