MisfitArt – The future of digital collecting reinvented.

Cryptocards

The biggest thing to hit the global market since the invention of currency is the word “Bitcoin”. What started merely as an alternate electronic payment system soon became the seventh wonder of modern economy. We created Cryptocards a digital collectible limited card series based on smart contracts, to capture the most important milestones in Bitcoin’s history. Trade, collect find rare cards, show off your collection, and own a piece of Bitcoin history!

We only have one advice for you: HODL! The cards will only appreciate in value.

Nice art work.. cryptocurrency history looks like its going upscale with this release. Interesting idea to combine collectible digital art smart contracts with important moments in cryptocurrency history. I also like that if new momentous events happen you can release new cards to capture them so it can be a continually evolving project.

I'm wondering, what is the basis for deciding the scarcity of each card?

Hello. To begin with the introductions: we are the dev team behind the project and we are here to answer any queries along with Kabzeon who is our community manager.

Notes. The platform is still in beta. We wanted to launch an mvp so we could actually build a product that is in line with anyone's expectations, so we welcome any feedback. We appreciate your patience while we reiterate and improve the whole user experience & platform.

To make sure everyone has a fair chance at buying a cryptocard we've only made 20 cards available for buying. In the next few days while the press covers our launch we'll make the whole collection available to the public. Thank you!

20 cards mean 20 designs right? But there are multiple copies of each design offered?

So instead of buying coins, what's on offer are cards. And I would guess we buy them with bitcoins?

Overall there are already 66 collectible cards, but not all are open for buying... What would be the price per crypto card? I think so that bitcoin will be use for payment but I hope they are open to accept fiat currency or altcoins like Ethereum, Litecoin and etc. I really like this idea, very informative. I admit that I am not aware in some information given on every card, I only knew a few. Interesting about the history behind bitcoin.

The whole collection amounts to 66 cards showcasing every significant moment in Bitcoin's history until december 2017. While there are multiple copies of each card (max 200 which is low number compared to the hundreds of thousands of people who are Bitcoin's mad supporters) any card edition that won t be sold, will be burned to increase the value and the rareness of the bought editions.

The collectors can buy the whole collection (66 cards) on 18 Jan when we will officially launch. Presently only 20 cards are available for sale because we wanted to run a prelaunch on bitcointalk. This way the truly early adopters of Bitcoin, could buy the oldest cars in its history.

No guys. Without real cards it will costs nothing. Buying a digital picture? No, thanks.

The digital version of the card offers a verifiable tamper proof ownership on the blockchain. We will also plan to offer a physical print version of every card and ship them to their collectors. This is scheduled to happen in Q2 2018.

While we have mad respect for the old fashioned collectors, the appeal for digital collectibles is only growing and its cultivated by companies like Topps who made a quantum leap during the last years, jumping to digital collectible trading cards. We recommend checking out one of their apps, whether is Star Wars, Bunt (Baseball cards), Kick (Football/soccer cards) or even The Walking Dead TV series.

If that so it is true project! Ok, Im holding your topic. Eating for start prices!

About 30 cards are priced at 0.005 eth, another 15 at 0.02, and 10 at 0.15. There will also be some free cards that will be announced on the official launch.
The most expensive one is the satoshi card, which is very scarce - ghost rare (only 1 edition).

I saw there is a card sale for 5ETH.... and some is 0.005ETH...

so how to buy the card,  and what's the card for Huh  when will physical card available Huh

Suggestion: please add the price on the collection page !

There was a digital collectibles card in smart contract was long ago and can't remember the name of that project, but Ico fails or did not gain support from investors I hope this one will take off, remember crypto kitties is such a big hitter who knows this is the next big thing.

Nice project.

I'd like to buy Satoshi Nakamoto, but I find it a bit too expensive for now.

Lots of support

This one is a breakthrough, usually the cards are just some regular design, but this Cryptocards giving it a unique design for the cards.
It should be some advertisement way for the project to get known.

It would have been useful to do a signature campaign to promote your project, and for the people to get some special signature campaign cards.

That is a nice way to add some rarity to the cards as it is based on past, non-renewable actions.

I just give you an idea.

Good luck !

But as someone already asked, that cryptocards are for what?
Where can we use that for? Or just digital collection?

Kind of reminds me of pepe cards. Will this have something like ORB wallets where you can view the cards and trade them on the phone?

I like the idea and it will definitely appeal to the hardcore collectors out there. Might be a bit of a niche though since it isn't something universally attractive like say-- collectible animals. But it could work.
