i think he can buy bitcoin now because bitcoin price is dump or simply low now and also ripple coin i think because some investors pull out their money then convert to ethereum. ethereum now is unstoppable thats why they invest money.

Head over to LocalBitcoins[1], make an account, look through the bitcoin sell offers that are from people in Israel. If the prices are too expensive, your friend can make his/her own offer for a price he/she's comfortable with. After your friend buys some bitcoin, transfer them over to an exchange like Binance[2] or an instant-exchange like ShapeShift[3], then he/she can grab some XRP there.

Hey Drabe - I created a great tool exactly for this purpose.

Go to Theycallitcrypto.

On the homepage, select Buy -> Bitcoin -> Israel -> Whatever payment method you prefer.

It'll show all of the crypto exchanges you can use as well as some basic info one each (fees, brief review, positives, negatives).

Off-topic, still, if you're interested in having any other token different than Bitcoin, please hold till you see BTC dominance getting decreased in number because until Bitcoin holds the majority, nobody will now take interest in alts and you'll not see the alt season soon, or at least till Bitcoin stabilize.
