The current downfall in the cryotocurrency price is due to China's ban,not due to South Korea that is not a big populated country when compared to China.Recently China stoppes ICOs and local cryotocurrency exchanges on their country but now they want to totally ban cryotocurrency over their country.So there is huge fall in the investors because most of the cryp traders and investors are from China.

This is due to several reasons. Basically, this is a sharp reaction from the Chinese authorities about the ban. They also have a new year now. I think it somehow touches today's fall. Do not panic in this situation!

Not only is the altcoin copper is falling but the bitcoin itself is also deeply discounted. This shows that whale investors are trying to bring the market down deep to continue to buy the coin at extremely cheap prices. I think this market has witnessed so many things and so be really lucid when deciding.

I think all this is temporary, Chinese news, Chinese New Year, games of big investors. Just wait and you will see BTC back to 20000$ and up.

Who knows why every crypto falls? I think because many countries are tightening regulation of cryptocurency in their respective countries or banning the use of cryptocurency in the country just as it did in south korea country which prohibits its country for the use of cryptocurency currency.but I think it will pass soon I think if the currency cryptocurency is very strong to be rolled.

I think this is due to corrections and after a couple of days this will return to pumping mode.
Sometimes we can question what's happening in here, be worried at most but we should believe as this will go up.

You are right,China totally banned crypto usage in their country or maybe going to ban soon this is the reason for the huge price fall in the all crypto currencies.It is nearly $150B price fall in coinmarket cap value and bitcoin is digging under $12K maybe the price will fall more in the coming days.And if you check the coinmarket website every coin is in red radar and faced price fall over 20% for each coin.
I expect the time needed to recover from this price fall will be more than the normal because I never seen anything like this before in crypto market.

Pretty sure it did this in December. Never fully recovered from that one right enough.

Crypto Market Suffers From Uncertainty in Asia, Losses Up to 40%

Bitcoin and altcoins lost up to 40% of their value the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 16, as regulatory pressure from China and South Korea appears to upset optimism.

Cross-exchange data from CoinMarketCap reveals the extent of bear sentiment arising from the confused situation in Seoul and the news of additional trading sanctions from Beijing.

On Monday, Cointelegraph reported on how Korean authorities would likely stop short of an outright cryptocurrency exchange “shutdown,” but had introduced fines for users unwilling to use personal identification data on crypto exchanges in the country.

At the same time, China is looking to expand the scope of its September crypto exchange ban to “end” centralized trading for Bitcoin and altcoins in all forms, various sources now report.

As of press time, Bitcoin has lost almost 15% on the news, while the majority of major altcoin assets fared considerably worse, dipping between 20% and 30%, some of the top 30 coins even seeing 40% losses.

Bitcoin Cash, which had seen significant price advances in the first part of January, has fallen below $2000. Ripple stood at $1.36 at press time - less than half of its Jan. 4 high over $3.

It definitely is not the best feeling when all the cryptos are falling for a few days, but then again, it can't always rise either, there are always going to be peaks and dips in the market, probably a great time to buy with coins at a better price. Could be a group of whales or investors.
There are so many possibilities here.

Before, they believe when bitcoin is down then alts will go up but now everything is falling down.
